Game was tied at 49 with a minute to go, SW had the ball, Butt missed a shot with about 34 seconds and PC rebounded. PC held for the final shot, Riley Hall missed a 15 foot shot with 3 seconds, but Gover was called for a foul. Hall made both free throws. 51-49. SW throws ball to half court and calls a time out. Their inbound pass goes out of bounds. PC throws it in and is fouled immediately. Hall makes two more FT for final margin.

SW was out coached tonight. We were selfish tonight. Had a AAU mentality. I overheard several fans complaining how it was all about " Me " tonight, except for Gover. He played to win. Wright better get is paid recruit in a uniform quick.

From what I gather PC old coach had to play / start players that couldn't play in order to keep his job. Now this new coach don't care about parents and what people say or do and he is just playing the players that can play and forgetting the rest , and now ur seeing the results looks like. Let coaches coach and keep parents at bay with their negativity and bullying via politics and see a coach win and do good a lot of times.

5) PC played better team ball. They passed it to each other
4) PC's recruit got to play and SW's is still ineligible
3) Riley Hall was Clutch. Players make plays and He is a player
2) PC outcoached SW in the final minute of the game.

Well I'm not gonna say PC coach is all that just yet. If he was all that he wouldn't have coached at 50 different places and been fired 20 something times! Even though our paper guy has a secret high school crush on him. Lol! I have to say it was a rival game and PC kids wanted to win. Period. PC coach don't show any big trick plays or complicated defenses, just basic stuff, nothing special. And from rumors in aint due to a lot practice time cause they take a lot of days off. Even before big games. So.........go PC players , u got it done ! You all need to take the credit for sure !!

I don't know where you people are getting jealousy or selfishness on Southwestern part, I don't see that at all. I've tried to replay the game in my head, and I can only think of 2 bad shots the entire game, 1 was a quick 3 by Gover on a big possession in the 2nd half when Gaskins was starting to get his rhythm. The other was a 3 by Butt with less than minute to go in a tie game, it was a open look but I thought we should have went inside or let Gover create. There is no jealousy or selfishness at Southwestern, just a night were they didn't shoot it well.

I think we tried to make it a faster pace game early on by pressing, but we gave up on that to quick in my opinion.
