Looks like a solid pick up. He looks bigger than 6'8" 215. Definitely in the weight category. Watched a highlight and he's a big, strong, post guy that has a smooth offensive touch around the rim and rebounds like a boss. He's capable of pulling up with a mid-range jump shot and driving to the basket. Really good in the post with his back to the basket as well.

Cool
More depth for next year's team.

Nice late season pick up. I guess UK has stopped chasing Trevor Lacey.

^ Who is Trevor Lacey?
04-03-2011, 01:14 PM
4 star guard. Last article I read he said it was down to us and Alabama. This commitment will probably make his decision.
04-03-2011, 01:22 PM
Well, if he's a guard, why would this commitment make his decision?
04-03-2011, 01:34 PM
It don't matter the position. We have one player leaving, and 5 freshmen coming in. Scholarship situation. IMO TJ is gone, Knight probably too, Lamb is staying. Maybe they'll be a few transfers. Cal will find a way to make it work.

Well apparently UK is still in his top 2.
I spoke to Trevor Lacey yesterday before the Final Four and he said that the report from the Huntsville Times yesterday is false.
Al.com had this statement in an article about Anthony Grant:

Trevor said that Kentucky and Alabama are still his top 2 and that is the teams he will be deciding between.
Obviously, the hometown media is trying to pressure Lacey to stay in state and keeps trying to pit the 2 in-state schools as his leaders.
Trevor was really perplexed how people keep putting Auburn into the mix as one of his top schools.
On a side note, Trevor was really excited for the Kentucky game and just hearing his voice you could tell he was excited.

He's good.
Trevor holds offers from Alabama, UCONN, Kansas, Auburn, Kentucky. He's Ranked 7th in his position and 34th in the Nation. He's a 6'3 Shooting Guard
