Thats sad.. I watched them play SF one year and they had to dress a girl.. Because they had only 5 boy starters,,

yeah....it is pretty bad that anyone would start a thread like this....

too my knowledge this is the second year of the Piarist program...they are a single A school located on Highway 23 N near P-burg....

their school has always put major influence on academics, and I admire the boys that did decide to try to get the program started there. They may not be the best now, or they may not be the best for a while, but sometime down the road, they will prove all of the SV Worshipers on here wrong. It may be 50 years from now, but sometime they might have a good team. Besides, you hafta start somewhere. SV, Pike Central, Pikeville, Belfry, P-burg all started somewhere. So don't rag on some boys that are out to have fun.

Unless they dropped the program, I remember them playing Pike Central my junior or senior year, and that was back in either 98 or 99

They have had a program for sometime but very few wins. I think their first win was about three or four years ago against Riverside Christian. They beat them the 1st meeting this year. The school in on Rt 80 on the hill just above MCA grade school.

Get over yourself! I have nothing against Piarist or any team.. My intentions is to supply sporting news and content.. Regardless of who is playing.. What your basically saying is that Piarist isnt worthy enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as SV.. Im sure the players of Piarist doesnt feel that way..

Now thats a clever little twist of words. The point IS Piarist IS worthy of mention along side ANY team in its region.

They have had a team for about 7 or 8 years
with one win.
And they will have stiff competition from the David school and they will get a share of alll the procedes from the tourney.
those kids go out an play because they love the game
And if it were a spelling contest i would put my money on Piarist.

All it would take for Piarist to eventually be a very good team is a well named coach and a little recruiting of local talent from area schools. They are a private school and can offer a good education and with a few players and a couple big wins to get the ball rolling who knows could be a team to fear in the 15th. Until then good luck to the small school on the hill.

Im the founder!! Thank you! I am a human just like you. I have no degree in sports broadcasting..I didnt create the site so I could be neutral.. Why should I be neutral?.. We are free to make choices or predictions. I created this site so people could express their opinions about their favorite teams.. The site will be a success. I would cheer for them taxi.. I like cheering for the underdogs..

Sometimes people just like to take things way out of context and start trouble.. Just because I predict they will lose by 70 doesnt mean I disrepect the school.. They only have like 6 players and SV is a Powerhouse..I only gave my honest opinion.. If I offended anyone from Piarist then I appologize. BTW this was a Class A first rd game is why I brought it up..
