The clock should be non stop in the forth! Russell should get a chance to see some young players on the field this game! A lot of people has given Ivan a hard time on some of these sports forums, Ivan is like the old Tom Scott and Herb Salyers of the old school, play hard and honest and things will come together! If you only run 10 plays, but run them correctly, make em' stop it! That's football!

They must have just added him to the roster because he wasn't there last time I checked yesterday.

Russell will have to be ready to play, I don't think it will be a blow out like some might think WC has a pretty good team.Good Luck to both and stay injury free.

Depends on what West Carter team shows up the team that lost 13-7 to Fairview or the team that beat East Carter 35-10.

WC is much better than some on here think they are. Russell better come ready to play or they will lose this game, that some are saying will be a blow out.

With what I seen at the Boyd Co. game if Russell plays that same way they are going to have there hands full with West Carter. I just hope they come out with a little fire under their butt and take care of business.

Comets 12

Goodluck to both teams.

I hate to burst anyones bubble, but has anyone looked at the ranking for this week. Russell #6 and West Carter #7. I know that means nothing, but it sounds like West Carter is much better this year than in recent past. Russell better come to win or things could be disasterous.

No there's a number 71 on Russell's team photo of different race as well as one on Raceland team that number ends with a 7. I can't see the first number because the Raceland coaches head is blocking it. But he was listed on Raceland's roster in the preview as 73 but I see no 73 in their team picture.

Russell by 7. Good luck to both teams.

He was #73, didn't like to show up for class, was kicked off the team.

Well he's at Russell now as #71 and the same thing will apply at Russell so he better show up for class.

MASSAY PREDICTION: Russell 27-10
#30
Ok, I did some digging on the Russell football site and come up with some interesting numbers. Russell has struggled to be very consistent on offense for most if not all of the year. Maybe part of it is this -

QB Dehoff - 6'2" 195lbs
Passing
3-19-35yds - 0td's - 3 int's - 3 sacks - efficiency rating = -0.32

Rushing
18 - 75yds - 0td's avg. 3.3/carry

QB Sparks - 6'0" 175lbs (includes last years Varsity stats)
Passing
7-12-190yds - 3td's - 1int - 0 sacks - efficiency rating = 257.17
this year on‌ly = 4-6-80yds - 3td's - 1int - 0 sacks rating = 310.33

Rushing
8 - 41yds - 0td's avg. 5.1/carry
this year = 2-6 0td's avg.3.0/carry

Dehoff is a sophomore, Sparks a Senior. From what I heard Sparks has Qb'd this group since they were in middle school. All I heard was Dehoff should get it because of his size and rushing ability. After 5 games I really don't see it? Are they really starting this sophomore because of 2" 20lbs and he looks bigger? I also heard the Spark kid was the QB for them in the passing league thing they do in the summer that won the league. This offense needs consistency to beat Mason and maybe even W.C. plus if they get down again and need to throw who would you want making the throws? The "he is a better runner" thing sure doesn't seem to add up.
Thoughts?
