JC by 10, with all the seniors JC's graduating this year it could be awhile before the Eagles beat the Tigers again. How many seniors do the Eagles graduate this year.

Well all things being equal, I'd say JC is about 15+ points better. But Paintsville has been playing a little better lately but also has played a lot of games in the past week. So it could be worse or better than 15. In this series anything is possible so you never know. But Paintsville should not be able to beat JC this year.

They graduate five seniors and only three start. I think they still have three players that play a significant role coming back with some young players waiting in the wings. I guess those blue glasses you purchased about four years ago are starting to fog up! Big Grin

The rivalry is one of the best in the mountians. What I was saying is the seniors have seen P'ville dominate the last few years so now it is their turn to step up win a couple for the Eagles. If you think there is not emotions on both sides and a revenge factor involved, you have not been involved as a fan.

I recall a young group of Tigers about five years ago that only won 6 games the entire season. They were down to JC by 20 at the half at JC. That young group fought back and won the game. That group consisted of Blake Bundy and JD Vanhoose. Records are out the door people. All of you should know that. These games are very unpreditable. Anyone can win.
And Eagle Eye...Aren't you the pot calling the kettle black. I recall you used to wear those blue glasses as well. But, you traded your's in for some gold ones. No big deal. Just don't ridicule someone for something that you have done yourself.

I agree with you. The basketball program will be like the football program and just keep reloading every year. Great talent coming back and a great feeder system. Coach M has the program on the rise.

When a team is down, this should be an easy W for JC. With the rivalry these 2 teams have you have to throw everything out the door. Both teams play their very best, having said that I am going with the Tigers for the upset.

You have to be joking, right? Look at our sophmores and frshmen also. Plus the 7th grade just finished 2nd in the state out of 54 teams. I personally think some of those guys will contribute at an early age.

Now that there is good. Are you saying that the freshmen/sophs and seventh graders could do anything better than what is being done now???? There is some young talent coming up but without JC upperclassmen this program would really be a joke this season. Aren't you one that called in to the radio show and said that after the seniors were gone the team would be so much better off and probably be in the state tourney next season ?????

I for one do nothing but support our whole program. I think our seniors are great. WHat I was implying to was what HOt WHeels said about them dominating JC after the seniors graduate.

Just remember that the Tiger team that you will be watching tonight. Only has 1 Senior. EVERYONE else is just SOPH and below. I mean EVERYONE else.

As far as them taking 2nd in the state. Not taking anything away from the GREAT job!
JCMS is always one of the best Middle School teams in the State. It is what happens at the next level a lot of people don't understand.

Do not plan on the Middle School kids not producing at the high school, that has been taken care of. It will be like football, keep reloading and winning. If JC starts dominating in basketball, will it be the big school picking on the little class a school again and not want to play JC just like football?

Your team is young, but JC can match up and play on any class level so the futrure does not scare us. Not to take anything away, but if the P'ville kids were at any other school in the region they would be playing middle school or jv ball.

Don't start this Apple Bowl garbage...I've heard enough of it to make me sick to my stomach. Those are two different sports and don't have any room for comparison.

Sorry if I offended you. This is not apple bowl garbage, just a statement. It seems the Pville fans do not think our program is competitve and their once in five years teams will dominate. Times and programs have changed and JC sports is starting to get to where is should be.

JC by as much as their pride comes out to play.
