Actually Cooper only started with a little over 800, most of the students came from Conner and Ryle and a small handfull from Boone Co. Very few seniors came over from the other schools. At least thats what the newspaper stated. None of the basketball players had any prior varsity experience. It will be a while before they put a team on the floor that will compete at a high level.

Give them time in a few years they'll be one of the better teams in that area, they spent too much money there for them not to be.

Cooper will be just fine. They also had a tough first year of football. They will be fine, trust me.
