11/22 Weather Forecast
#1
After watching the weather forecast I'm starting to wonder, if any of these Friday night games might have a little snow on the field. That'd be pretty awesome to see in a way.

I've seen where part's of WV are supposed to get some pretty good snow.  Can't really tell much about KY right now.

According to WSAZ come Friday morning the whole viewing area may have some snow on the ground. Which that could change. Maybe interesting to see how this forecast plays out.

Teams better be able to establish a running game.

I don't care about 11/22 but I hope it comes a blizzard for the ages in Danville, KY on 11/29.

Pretty much all of EKY will be under a winter weather advisory starting at 6 this evening until 7 tomorrow morning, starts with rain then transitions to snow, tonight into Friday morning just a wintry mix of sleet or freezing rain and pretty much all that on & off all day tomorrow, if all that holds true it'll sure make it interesting for all the games in the area. Sleet & freezing rain into the night may make things a little hairy on the commute in the morning, but mainly just going to see snow on grass/elevated areas. Definitely would make for some great football weather.

Driving on snow covered roads has never bothered me in the least.
I don't drive on icy roads!!

Considering the mild fall we have had, windy and cold conditions could play a factor regardless of snow.
Those cold hands are you to be a new thing to most of these kids

Think about it, we are due a snowy winter we haven't had one to speak of in several years now.
An old guy in our neighborhood said the other day looking for this to be a 'wingdinger of a winter'
following all the signs he has seen through the fall. We'll see. I'm having my tires checked
today and we'll be on the road to Corbin tomorrow - good luck to all the teams playing.
This is a good time to say: "Stay warm"!

Agreed,  the sight of a little snow on the elevated areas would make for some great football weather.

The sleet and freezing rain I can definitely do without.  Just hope we don't get a full blown ice storm with tree's falling everywhere and the electric being out for weeks.

That's a good point.

Yeah,  when we hear the old timers talking about the signs for winter,  we better start getting prepared! I've heard about the signs all my life. I always tried judging by how high hornet's build their nests and stuff like that.  I never have been able to get a accurate gage like this, for some reason, I've not been able to pick up on judging the signs lol

I guess it's kinda comical when someone in our family finds a hornet's nest.  We'll all begin estimating it's height from the ground.  This in a full blown debate about what it means for the winter!

Finally it's football weather!

Nothing like watching the boys go at it in the cold and dark and maybe snow. Especially when you're huddled up under a blanket streaming the game from your living room with an adult beverage in hand :)

Appears game time rain chances have diminshed throughout the state. Cloud cover will keep temperatures above 40 in nearly every location. Raceland and Bell County still showing below 40 degrees with moderate chances of precipitation. Wind might be the biggest factor state wide.
