Best 2nd round games?
#1
Now that we are past the obligatory week 1 lopsided games, what are the best matchups to watch for?
#2
JC vs Cov Catholic will be a big time game.  These two have a pretty long history of meeting in the playoffs.  This game is at Cov Catholic.

I don't understand the rankings and how they play out at all.  I do believe the winner of this game will play Boyle County in round 3 at Boyle. So whoever wins this JC vs Cov Catholic matchup,  thing's definitely doesn't get any easier week 3.

I like JC vs Cov Cath but another 2 solid matchups are going down in 6A

Ryle vs St X
Male vs Ballard

I’m interested to see how Male adjusts to playing a good team with the injury situation in their backfield. It will be big shoes to fill as Burton has been huge this season.

I think that Ryle / st X game is going to be a dandy

Rock at Belfry and JC at Cov Cath.

For the atmosphere I like Rockcastle vs Belfry. For the season revenge match I like Betsy Layne vs Prestonsburg.
The Martin County vs Shelby Valley game will also be a good one.

Two offense with completely opposite approaches and both highly effective!
I think Cooper's QB's mobility will be the difference in the game. O'Hara is waaay more athletic than people realize!!
