BHS has not chartered since the '90s and we know the long trips they have been on including 7 straight trips to Bowling Green.  There is blue collar and then faux blue collar.  Go figure!!

Lmao we have never in our entire existence taken a charter bus including trips to Louisville in state championship games however we had the money and the players wanted something different so they got it just get over your weak comments like riding a charter bus is such a weak thing you all are about to find out tonight see you at Pond Creek

it’s not always about your schedule what good is playing a tough schedule if it just depletes your roster and leaves you with less players? Maybe if your a 5A or 6A team or have a roster with 70+ players but when you only play 12-15 players and you loose 2-4 or more your season is over and then what good is it? We will see tomorrow and prove that anything can happen

It cracks me up too!! Rockcastle has literally played 1 team that had a chance this year to make noise and they lost at that!! Bell county is down from last year and Belfry is up!! If HH is starting on belfry defense, give me belfry 35 rockcastle 14

HH is definitely a difference maker for the Pirates.   I've neither heard nor seen any updates on his status....so I guess we'll have to wait till tonight and find out.

This is just one example but I’d love to be in a crowd like this again Friday night. Games like this were special. The players deserve it. Ashland 2019 is the last what I would call big time crowd for a playoff game at Belfry I can remember. This is going to be a good game. It will not be a first half running clock. Get out and support this team. I think they are the best team we’ve had in a few years and with a win you probably get Lloyd Memorial at home next week and I think all Belfry fans know what happened and what that game meant last time we played them.

Great atmosphere indeed…sadly, a lot of folks have moved away from here since then. 

Hopefully this group of Pirates have corrected their tackling errors. If so, it will be a competitive game with a slight edge to the Pirates.  If not, it’s going to be a long, long night.

A lot of improvement needed to get back to Kroger. Maybe Rockcastle can reminisce on those 1A games they love to play

Agreed.  We were definitely not sharp offensively.  The misses on deep balls completely took the offense out of sync in the the first half.   But….survive and advance is all you need come playoff time.  For this team to start 5-6 sophomores on defense…and get that kind of effort is definitely showing growth and maturity.   Go Pirates.

Belfry has to execute better than tonight. Missed two easy TDs in the passing game and had too many blunders to get behind the sticks. Tackling was inconsistent in the 2nd Half.
