Campbellsville was the 2nd best team last year and I think that’s true again. I just don’t know how far Raceland will slide. Until Sayre plays someone, it’s hard to know if they can stop anyone. They couldn’t stop Raceland last year. They’ll be able to put up points but late November and early December, you better have a defense that can get some stops. Hazard will be improved but not there yet.

Middlesboro is above Williamsburg IMO

After watching the scrimmage between Belfry and Raceland on YT, I can't see Raceland being #2 unless their better players were out due to short term injuries.

Why has Newport Central Catholic not been as competitive in recent years as they have been in the past?! Can someone help me out with that please?! NCC was the top three team in the class every single year for decades!! It seems like they've been struggling to break the top six or seven over the last five plus years maybe more. Appreciate it in advance.

Just my opinion. I believe it’s a multitude of things. Less kids are playing football. I believe they started a soccer program. It’s a private school and in today’s economy families can’t afford to send their kids there. At one time they had the states winningest head football coach. Lots of things have changed. A lot of the schools in Northern Kentucky aren’t as good as they once was and i believe it has to do with soccer
