Owensboro lost 2-3 key transfers to Ocath is the difference to me. I also mistrust their QB Delacey but if he limits mistakes this season I expect them to get better. I think 5-6 is the appropriate range for them. They have a quality game against CAL that should tell us more.

Maybe Highlands just has the hype because it's Highlands. One of those deals where I may just be reading too much online of people saying the same thing. So I guess to answer your question I have no idea why the praise is what it is but people have raised their expectations exponentially just by the way they speak of them

I have only seen Highlands blue/white intersquad practice so limited on what I can tell you. They have largest O and D lines that I have seen in decades. Good WR group. Was not overly impressed with QB play ( I thought Lorenzen who is a soph looked best but I don’t think he is going to play much at QB). Lorenzen stood out and is going to be fun to watch , made some really nice catches!  No RB stood out, I think this is where graduation hits the most. . Still looks like they will be weak on kickoffs without a strong kicker.  Should be able to play with everyone on regular season schedule, will find out quick with lex Cath and Cov Cath up first two games. I think you will see a lot of deep completions against lex Cath. D gave up a lot of running yards against Male so curious how the do at start of season. Poor coaching to start the season last year and totally out coach in playoffs against cooper, hopefully coaching steps it up this year.
