Franklin County vs Scott County 8/23. Thoughts?

These two teams are tuff. I am familiar with Franklin County because of them being in Class 4A and having to deal with them every year in November. Scott County is no doubt improving every year and has a tuff football team. This will be a good football game to watch. Another good game first weekend of the season.

I like Franklin County even though one of their posters was be sarcastic about them in another thread

Tough matchup, but I’ll take the Flyers by two scores.

scott county was a heck of a team last year before running into a hot as fire cooper team. I expected them to go far before meeting austin alexander. I will pick coach mckee over any coach in kentucky minus a select few guys. For that i have to say scott county.

Improving every year? No disrespect but you must not know much about them at all, they usually win 9 or 10 games every year and this year seems to be one of the best. Scrimmaged Bowling Green and Lou. Central and won both. Just a little information for you.

Central and won both. Should be a physical one. Just a little information for you.

Scott seems to be the pick of most of the non homers, I am going with my Flyers I think they will come with a good game plan and make enough plays to win. I am interested to see if the Flyers can hang with the bigger scott county team that is said to be very tough and physical. I hear Scott County will be down a few players, due to suspensions last year hopefully they have them all, I want to see how the flyers stack up. This Scott county team is boasting they have the most explosive offense in the state!

Should be a good game with two really good coaching staffs. All kids boast, I wouldn't pay attention that, just teenage talk.

I hope the FC boys listened! Best pay attention this week or the cardinals will light it up.

Glad Granny didn't have this game as one of the pickem games this week. I'm split on who to pick and see it as a 50/50 game.
