Hope its still on, but that's odd that its no longer listed on KHSAA site. That was a good scrimmage last year at their place, and i would think it would benefit both teams to continue it this year.

Will the Scrimmage be Live streamed ? I know last year's was at Breathitt Co. It would be great if so.

I can't see any scrimmages listed for any team this week on the KHSAA website.

I am hoping this will be more competitive than last years scrimmage. Breathitt will field a physical team, but this will be a test to see where the Bobcats match up with one of the elite teams in the mountains. If Kory Combs can get back healthy, this Bobcat team will push Somerset for a district title. I am looking forward to seeing how Hollon does as a freshman starter at QB.

Time it start? Any live feed?

Pikeville Football X is posting updates

Breathitt gained roughly 50 yards on their first 10 plays without scoring. Pikeville gained 70 and scored on play #9.

Pikeville is scoring easily from what I'm reading over on "X"

4 or 5 TDs by Pikeville, nothing for Breathitt when I left.

I was actually impressed with Breathitt, especially offensively, early in the scrimmage. They had some nice positive yardage plays during that first series. They looked much better structured than last year, not sure if the addition to Holcomb back to the staff is the reasoning but they looked much different this year to me in a good way. Pikeville was being Pikeville. Breathitts D got a couple stops on Anthony early then the Pikeville run game got going and Anthony and company started getting big chunks. Justice looked dynamic carrying the ball as well. Pikeville’s passing game looked pretty good too. Great first scrimmage for both squads in my opinion. Good luck to the Bobcats this season!

I agree. Breathitt looked much better organized. Young QB will have growing pains but handled himself well and I think will be really good in time. Pikeville didn’t show anything much. Very very basic but if certain elements on offense pan out, mainly the line, not much weakness on the team. The defense looks good this early and always gets better. Will be a strength again. Offense is better than last year. Duty looked really good. Some kids stepping up.
