The voice of negativity and doubt while being anonymous 

These guys haven’t even coached a game and you’re expecting the worst. 

If negativity and doubt is all these players hear and read no one is going to want to play and no one will ever want to come here and coach.

You’re entitled to your own opinion, but I’d at least allow Hager and his staff to coach a full season and then make your judgements. You’re certainly not helping things at all by coming on this message board and degrading Prestonsburg football every chance you get. 

Don’t be a part of the problem. Be a part of the solution. If you have a kid that is on the team or at the middle school than encourage that kid to be the best athlete and teammate he can be. Don’t be the parent that degrades the coaches on the way home from practice and games.

It took real Blackcats to stand up and get him ran out of town. Now I’m standing up to try and make our leadership go get someone who can actually revive Prestonsburg football tradition.

I have a son on this current team and would love nothing more than to see him and his teammates be part of the reason why Pburg is competing in 2A again. More importantly I’m going to support this staff and help in any way I can.

Maynard probably should have been starting QB two seasons ago. His potential and abilities is something Martin County hasn’t had for many years.

They gained the leading tackler in Class A from last year, who will be a sophomore next year. He can also run the ball. He should step right in to a starting spot if he’s eligible to play this year.

Where’d he come from?

Paintsville. But i thought khsaa rule him ineligible for baseball. Will he be able to play football?

Not often you see a Paintsville kid go to Martin. Been hearing things aren't to good in most programs at paintsville. still shocking though

Lafferty from Paintsville  . Kid was a hammer 
Led 1A in Defense.  Made crazy numbers as a freshman.  Heck of wrestler also.  Was told that was one the reason for his move . MC should be fine this year.  With him , Jude and Horn . Tough kids for sure.  Lafferty and Jude were both ruled eligible and I am sure will be starting for MC
