Final score from Robinson Creek.
This game was over in a hurry. Morgan received the opening kick, but was stopped for a big loss on 4th down. SV then threw a touchdown pass on the first play. Morgan's second drive ended with a 3-and-out, and Valley scored another TD on the first play of that possession. 2 plays, 2 TD's. Morgan then turned it over on their third chance, which led to another Valley score. This time, it took 3 plays to punch it in. Another Morgan turnover gave it back to SV, and yet another touchdown pass would make it 27-0 midway through the first quarter.
I was surprised to see what happened next: a running clock? I was unaware that a running clock could start with only a 27 point lead and in the first quarter, but it did. Valley would force a punt, then get one more touchdown, and that would be it for the starters. The JV came in and drove down to the 9 yard line, then finished the half off with a 26-yard field goal. The second half saw Valley's backups punch in 3 more touchdowns, setting the final score at 55-0.
I can honestly say this was the fastest high school football game I have ever seen. From kickoff to final horn, it was less than 90 minutes.
On to the next round for the Wildcats! Most likely looking at a matchup with Middlesboro next Friday. Go Cats!

Sounds like Big M little organ asked for an assisted suicide. Sad commentary on the “playoffs” when a qualifying team can’t beat the opponent’s JV.
