The next best thing to winning a couple of playoff games to northeast Kentucky teams is beating Ashland. Greenup County is good enough to win this game and ensure a very successful season and they are playing at home. I think that this will be a close game and GC will win if they play up to their potential.

Assland scores as much as they want. Greenup hasn’t got a clue on defense. If Assland doesn’t turn the ball over and get behind the sticks they will score a bunch.

Wow, for a team that has no clue on Defense, they traded punches with the tristate allstar lambs for 3 full qrts. And I may be mistaken but didn’t the turds hold the lambs to their lowest score all year?

That was my bad. It was the offense that has put up more than anyone else. Oops

Yeah ….get it right when you step to the plate. Toe to toe ?? No dude not at all! The rams threw two int’s and got behind the sticks and punted once. If they were still playing the Rams would still be scoring.

You lambs should be embarrassed to have even been in a game at halftime with the “turds”. But you were. So how good are the lambs really????

That arrogance will fade come December and then it’ll just be excuses.

Tough guy

I’m sorry to offend lamb posters on a GC/Ashland thread!!!!!!

Raceland is invincible, how’s that. No one has scored on them and no one can stop them. Greatest team to ever step out of a locker room!! Resistance is futile and all that stuff.

You are all laughable!!!!!!

And if your bored, which you obviously are. Go back to last year and even the year before that. Look who was waiting to piss on you alls pity party after pikeville wore out the untouchables. Yea, while the lambs were on the bus wiping their tears and rubbing those rumps, ol beagle was singing in the street!!
And would you like to bet who the first poster will be this year after that game? That’s right. You can’t even imagine how ready I am to post.

Bout a week the way it’s looking genius

I’m sure you guys still won’t have a roster by then however. Probably still waiting on the 23 recruits

As far as this football game goes, Ashland seems to have found their guy in Jennings and he is a threat to take it to the house any play. The Tomcat defense struggles too though but have shown to bend and not break over the past few weeks. I think Ashland will win a tough fought game but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Greenup win either.

Greenup 21

Even though we saw earlier this year what a straightforward power running game can do to Ashland when Wheelersburg annihilated them, I don’t think Greenup has the depth or skill positions to win this one. It would take a superman performance by Tyson Sammons on both sides of the ball to produce a a Musketeer win. Ashland by 10.

Should be a good game! But I’m going to give it to GC these boys just seem to find away.

Winner gets Magoffin first round loser gets Pike Central. 2nd round winner gets most likely Belfry at home loser goes to Lawrence.

Ashland has improved more than any region team over the course of the season. They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

How does the playoff picture shake out for Ashland in the first two rounds?

I believe it looks like this:

Magoffin County at Ashland
Russell at Belfry

East Carter at Lawrence County
Pike County Central at Greenup County

Ashland will be home for the second round and will likely host Belfry unless Russell pulls the upset.  Greenup County will be headed to Lawrence County in the second round for a rematch of the only loss for the Bulldogs.

At this point, given the RPI, Lawrence County would host Ashland in round 3.  It's very close between the two teams, though, so I'm not sure what a Lawrence loss to Raceland this week would do to their RPI?
