No seating at all for visiting team...all lumped together in misery!

East and west Carter are both nothing more than over glorified cow pastures with goal posts! Itâs misery playing on them as well.

Ashland has a good schedule. The tough matchups early in the year along with the scrimmages against bigger and better competition will only make them better throughout the season. The Tomcats wonât be a team for anyone to sleep on again this year either, I only wish some of that MOJO could return over on Red Devil Hill.

Stupid school system continuing to pay for two HSs. Why continue to buy average quality things twice (recent examples are the bleachers and the asphalt track) instead of buying nice things once? In the next ten years theyâll combine.

should have been combined a long time ago. would definitely aid both football programs. seems like one always has tallent and the other has size, neither seem to ever have both.

Scrimmage at Sheldon Clark today at 330. Next Saturday at Putnam against Spring Valley.

Scrimmage today was.a nice way to get the season headed in the right direction 63-0 Next weeks scrimmage should be a great test for a very good Ashland Team.

Did Sheldon Clark play the entire game with 6 players, or just for the first 3 quarters?

The score was not 63-0 idk what game that guy was watching.

What was the score? How did the scrimmage go?

The varsity only played around 45 -50 plays of 10 and 10 variety. Ashland had 4TDs SC -0. ABHS QB is the real deal and they have athletes for him to get the ball to. I was really impressed with what they have. SC definitely showed signs of improvement with only five seniors they could really make some noise in 2a the next couple years.
The JV played around the same amount of plays Iâm not sure the score of that was.

So T-CATS over exaggerated things just a tad, huh? I find it hard to believe that he would do such a thing.:eyeroll:

Lol yes he is.

Was told Ashland scored 9 times they didn’t break down varsity Jv and freshman scores. Hope the kid is ok from SC.

Sounds like Tomcats are loaded and/or Sheldon Clark is not......

Harlan County is rebuilding but will give Ashland trouble.

I think Harlan has 28 seniors last season. Ashland should barring their slow starts to the season should handle Harlan pretty easy.

The six or seven hour bus ride won't help them much either! Blow out!

Hmmm, that was the same battle cry when you went into that game last year too...Right?
How did that turn out again?

It's amazing what a six hour bus ride will do to a team! Same will happen this season for them!

Ashland going 0-0 in the scrimmage with Spring Valley yesterday is actually a good sign for the Tomcats. Spring Valley is about as close a team as you will find to Johnson Central with their enormous lines and such. Ashland is going to spread it out and throw it around this year and they have the personnel to do it. Braxton Ratliff should have a record setting season throwing and running the ball.

Excellent spin.

Or was it an excuse?

Seven hour? You are either horrible at geography or know the bus is gonna break down.

Your bus only goes 30 m.p.h if it takes you 6 hours. it's only a 3 hour trip. 4 hours if you stay in low gear.
