I believe Corbin had a harder schedule. Should show on Friday. We gonna find out!

Never thought I'd cheer for Corbin but I am.

This will be the best game at the State Championship...I can't wait to watch it.

Unless someone's not reporting on KHSAA I have Boyle with the following in the giveaway/takeaway count.
Boyle has lost 4 Fumbles all year. Lanter has thrown 4 interceptions all season.
The Rebel Defense has 23 Interceptions on the season and 15 Fumble recoveries.
That would be 38 takeaways and 8 giveaways for a +30 in the turnover department. Wow.

If I've added right on KHSAA, Corbin has 14 Interceptions and 12 Fumble recoveries on Defense on the year.
They have given it away on 9 fumbles and 5 Interceptions.
That's 26 Takeaways to 14 Giveaways for a +12 in that category. Impressive as well. It seems that both teams value the football a lot.

Wow, if you go to Ticketmaster and look at each games available seats this game is about sold out in reserved section. The high school sold 450 tickets in 30 minutes and still had a request for over 500 more. Cats may not sell out Kroger but Hounds and Rebals may. I was told it looked like Black Friday all over at the school today

So Corbin got an allotment of tickets? For what ever reason Boyle didn't.
11-28-2017, 07:35 PM
Maybe their AD didnât drive to KHSAA and request them.................................

Yes they did. Our AD had a conference call Monday morn with them and we received 500 and sold out. I think they are trying to get more.
Yea I seen somewhere where a boyle fan said the school wouldnât get any tickets. It had me wondering why?

I'm wondering why to, 'cause Boyle has always sold tickets at the school.
Sounds like somebody from Boyle dropped the ball on this one.

Jack in all reality Iâm not sure if itâll matters either way. I think selling them at the school will make it a little more convienent for some of the elder crowd and maybe students. But I donât think itâll affect #âs. Might save ya that processing fee from ticket master. But I donât see it making any difference as far as fan support. Especially for a program like Boyle or Corbin.

I agree! Where the tickets Corbin was selling general admission?

The ones that I bought were. Iâm not sure if they were selling reserved or not. I did not ask.

Doesn't look like a lot of money but the ticketmaster fee for those 500 tickets adds up. SHould be around a $1,000 savings for the Corbin folks.

Well instead of being a pj go to ticket master and look at each game reserved section and grey means sold, blue still available. There are only probably 30 seats in reserved and my statement about the other tickets is actually correct also. The traditions of both programs are going to pack a crowd, do I honestly think we are going to sell it out no I donât it was a joke. I was told they are going to try and get more. I believe someone said they bought thereâs at the school, whoever it was was there not a bunched turned away and it like Black Friday. Several kids said it was crazy the people there. Hats off to two fine programs getting the crowds out is all my post was intended for. I am sure Boyle will pack the house aswell after seeing the crowd they brought a month ago.

It was Black Friday crowds without the trash and fights haha. I donât know about people being turned away. I got out there as fast as I could and weâll just say mine were being âheldâ. I do know they did sell out though and are trying to get more
11-28-2017, 08:49 PM
After thinking it may be better just to pay the $1+ dollars per ticket and just order the general admission on line. To avoid the black friday crowd would be money well spent.

Yea I know. I heard they did get turned away but I got mine and got out before they sold out. I might have to take a nerve pill to keep calm the whole week. The crowd and atmosphere is gonna be electrifying. Like I said earlier, you could probably get away with murder in corbin on Friday night. Hopefully thought, the only murdering will take place on the field.

Check this link out. Says Boyle North side visitor.

or this one.

This looks like Boyle is on the north side.

I'm confused but my guess is Boyle is on the Northside. Because of this.
"2017 KHSAA COMMONWEALTH GRIDIRON BOWL
STATE FOOTBALL FINALS-SEATING, WARM-UP, BENCHE
"VISITING TEAM FAN SEATING AND SIDELINE (NORTH SIDE)
Friday, 12/1, Beechwood (1A), Boyle County (3A)
Saturday, 12/2, Mayeld (2A), Franklin-Simpson (4A). Covington Cathol
So if you are home team your crowd will be split in half by reserve seats 35-35 or you will be on one end of the field? That seems a little strange.

Ticketmaster is charging a little over $5.00 per ticket for processing fees.

Is it Friday yet??? All trash talking and arguing aside. I'd like to wish everyone safe travels and good luck. I have great respect for Boyle county and coach smith.
11-29-2017, 01:04 AM
So does anyone know if they will be charging for parking and how much tickets will be at the gate?
11-29-2017, 01:36 AM
I do know general admission will be $16 at gate, not sure about parking.
