Perry Central vs Pikeville 3/15 (Sweet 16 opening round)
#1
What's your predictions? I'd say Perry by 18 .
#2
I'm going to go with PIKEVILLE by single digits.
#3
Pulling hard for Pikeville, like all the other 14th region schools ! Go Panthers ! Send those dirty cheaters hime!
#4
If Pikeville can hit their 3s, we've got a game.

If not, Perry wins this one running away.

The Commodores are coming off a few underwhelming team efforts. You would think they are due for a good game.

What proof of cheating do you have?
What proof do you have that the khsaa and ky court systems dont have?
You should probably come forward with it pretty soon.

And even if they send them home, they still got to play at Rupp. They still got to play long after you were soooo certian they wouldnt get to play. They still get to play longer then your boy. So call them what you want, but we call them

14th Region Champions!!!!!!
#6
I HOPE Pikeville 87 PCC 81
I THINK Pikeville 51 PCC 54

Be careful who you speak ill of as Pikeville might not be as innocent as you may think....

PCC 66 P-Ville 51

Let's go panthers!! It's obvious that everybody that isn't a PCC fan is going to be pulling for Pikeville. Who could support that team besides PCC fans? Every fan and team in the 14th region was a patriot last night and they will be panthers come Wednesday.
#10
Will there be any transfers come to PCC before the state tournament game? I read that Jimmer Fredette was looking to make a comeback in the NBA. I guarantee he would sign with PCC. If not a pro player, I am sure Michael Porter Jr. (#1 Recruit in the nation) would transfer to get a good quality education until the state tournament is over.

We are so glad that you and others are against us. That makes it sweet. The people with class like BB King , Al Holland and others in the region will be pulling for PCC. Do just include you and your idiots in the against category. If you want you can come watch us on Saturday in the final 4.

When does just getting to Rupp become not enough for the biggest school in the 14th region that still started more kids from out of the state than from Perry County? If that team doesn't make a deep run I still view them as a failure when you think of top teams in the state. 3 recruits of that size and ability level you have to be able to win a couple games at state in my opinion.
#13
I hope my Panthers can somehow pull out a big W but I'm thinking that Perry Central will probably win in the 7-12 point range. I admit I don't know much about either team this year though and i fully expected Johnson Central to beat Pikeville so who knows. The last time Pikeville played in the Sweet 16 in 1999 they beat Boyd County before falling to eventual state champion Ballard.
#14
I said this in a different thread, but it's worth repeating.

Perry Central, you'd better be able to score A LOT points. Pikeville will live and die with how their #2 and #12 play. Those two killed JC in the regional championship with their post play on both ends of the floor. Pikeville has some good role players, but #2 and #12 is their backbone.

Pikeville was able chip away at JC's 38-20 lead in the 2nd qtr. to win by 11 points (and yes, that still hurts) by playing smart basketball.

I'm going with Pikeville to send the Commodores home.

PCC fans saying stuff like that is why nobody likes them. Already saying you will be in the final 4 is just plain stupid. You have to win two games to get there, pal. Your recruits aren't unbeatable.

Perry Central needs to prepare for Pikeville like it's the state championship game. If they don't, they are going back to Hazard with tail tucked between their legs after 32 minutes.

Pikeville unless Jeff D Afterkirk is the ref then who know
#18
Jeff D Afterkirk is from the 8th region and live in Dry Ridge Ky

What happened to supporting the 14th region rep. Knots girls team has several transfers but no way could I pull against them in the tournament. Some of the posters on here are taking it way beyond being fans. I wouldn't want to look in my heart and find hate for any school or group of kids. Now they're going to tell me they don't hate the kids but these posts say otherwise.

Hahaha...here we go with the non-sense stuff. There's always one or two envy-green posters that starts this crap up. Can't you even summons up some credit for "JtheCoach"? Come on man...just relax and that hot sensation in your face and neck will go away....Jealousy really isn't good for the soul. Williams is doing ok at Bath...14-17 record beat by 22 in the first round of the district by a team he'd beaten twice earlier in the season. He still got coach of the year in that region. They don't put much pressure on the coaches to win there, or at least that's what Williams said in his first news conference. You and the rest of the "W" homers should just relax for a bit.

Agree with you somewhat but other players scored a zillion points on JC.

I'm sure they don't think that. I just think they're do for a big game and the size advantage will be there all day.

Size advantage has been there all year. Pikeville is red hot and the wrong team do be due for a big game against. I don't know who will win but I do know Perry is not better than Pikeville.
