This is A hard one to pic, they are similar in A lot of ways. You have to consider home court advantage, you have to consider coaching, you have to consider athletical ability I have always leaned toward the athletes. I give Williamsburg an edge, I will say that the final score will show less than a 5 point victory. I think it will be A heck of A game. You don't want to miss. If Fred Massey, and Eathan play like they did last night, It will be really tight.

Williamsburg is a very talented team and they play extremely hard but I think the hounds have to many scoring threats for them.......if south had a good shooting guard they would have prevailed last night.....Corbin 72 Burg 60

I agree with the ref statement......hard to overcome that by itself. Disagree with the statement that corbin has more scorers than w'burg. I posted on another thread that taylor and either shelton or skylar griffith will be a wash. Don't know if corbin has another legitimate 20+ night after night besides taylor. W'urg has 2 of these. Then you add another griffith thats capable of big games on any night. Don't think corbin has a player that can neutralize him at all. Corbin is not very physical down low. That brings another point with bench play. W'burg has two guys that can play physical and rebound and can really disrupt things in the paint. Ask south about that one. The big kid from south lit corbin up with 20+.......last night he had 8 i think. It comes down to match ups.......can either team match up with the other all the way down the line and hold it for 4 qtrs. Factor in how well lowrie plays defense.....he's quick which many people don't realize how quick he is and he can play physical. Back to the referees.......last night they let them play physical all night long.....both ways. Tonight you dont know what you will get. Rock's defense is not a powerhouse not very physical either. Corbin likes that kind of play. Just haven't seem play a physical ballgame yet. Dont think south was at full strength when they played corbin either maybe with a couple of starters out.......bottom line. Lot of factors in this one but it should be a heck a game if the referees let the kids decide it instead of them. Just an opinion from an old ball coach!

if corbin beats w'burg by 12 i will be shocked.......just by common opponents in south......corbin won by 4 or 5 and w'burg won by 5 or 6. Sounds pretty even in looking at that.

Corbin is just better, better team, better coach.
Taylor may drop 40 tonight.
South may have the worst coach ever, the big kid was a hoss that never got fed. He had position every trip down the court. Did what he wanted when he wanted. Just never got any looks from souths guards.

Better teams don't always win and you can't overlook this w'burg team by any means. If taylor scores 40 then that means the others will struggle. For taylor to score 40 then he will have to put up a lot of shots and that will limit the others. Corbin doesn't have another scorer like that besides taylor. W'burg has 3 kids that can put numbers like that on any night. Thats what i was talking about matchup issues. Does corbin have enought defensive players to keep two kids who are averaging 20 a game with another player that can score 20+ on any night. Rebounding will be an issue as well.

Agree with the statement about south coach.....there were times when big mismatches existed and the big kid never seen the ball. There weren't that many of them though.....when wilson and massey were in either seperate or together then the advantage went away. The big kid didn't seem to like being muscled around some. He got caught up in wanting to lean back and worry about what those guys were doing to him. There were a few times that those two guys actually blocked the kid from south out and did it to the other side of the lane. He just didn't seem to like the real physical play. But i agree with the coach statement. He really missed some opportunities. Think south really underestimated the quickness of w'burg too. Completely took them out of any continuity.

No doubt corbin gets all the calls......and taylor will have a huge night. He always has a huge night. He's that kind of player. Just think there may be more than one having a huge night for w'burg. Can't wait for tipoff to this one. Hope topnotch has taken his medicine for this one.

I agree with about everything you said if Massey and Wilson are used early that means that Skylor, Shelton can slow down Taylor. Now you can't forget the defense that Lowery plays. I don't think Lowery gets enough credit for the defense he plays. All this does is guarantee you get A hell of A game. I can 't predict the out come but I can say both teams have the capability of winning. in A great game.

Williamsburg only has 3 people capable of scoring Shelton, S. Griffith, and sometimes A. Griffith if he has a smaller weaker player on him. The big kid from south out played him bad last night. There is not another player on Williamsburg team that can score.

I agree. Corbin will get all the calls and Taylor will have over half his points from FF line. One of Wburg top 3 players will draw 2 fouls early in 1st Q. Still think it comes down to the wire.

1/4 bak.......if you were at the south game then you have got to be the dumbest person on the face of the earth. To say the big kid outplayed griffith is totally insane. We didn't even have to griffith to guard him....wilson and massey shut him down. He killed corbin earlier in the season already. You are insane man.

Flash 154......you one of those people that like to run your mouth when you know nothing about the game obviously. 9-0 and you beat corbin at corbin in finals of their own tournament. It's okay if you cant give burg credit.......you can still count your bottle cap collection when you go home.
