Sheldon Clark 80 paintsville 58

Great job keep it up. A lot of players stepped up in the second half from what I heard.
#2
This team keeps getting better.

I thought Paintsville would be better than they are this year. I know it's early but they had had some bad losses.

Great second half by the Cards outscored Paintsville 46 - 28, hit 12 of 17 three pointers , which they had to since they shot only eight free throws, one in the second half compared to 27 for Paintsville.Sturgill is coming around to be the third scorer the cards need and they seem to be getting better. Good win 2 - 0 in district play. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Nice win by the Cards. Shot lights out. We had them 12 of 19 for the game behind the arch. I don't think they missed any in the second half. Shooting 63% behind the arch and over 60% from the field....thats hard to beat. As far as the free throw difference. When you shoot that much out side. You will have those type of margins, free throw wise. We went through that a couple years ago when we relied on the outside shot.

Parsley is always attacking though and james posts up a lot. That's a pretty big difference specially for the home team.

I do believe paintsville is going to be alright. They will get better as the yr goes on.

Should have been closer.

Merry Christmas to all.

They did. They shot 7 of the 9.
Parsley was 2/2 and James was 4/5. The one James missed was a and one. Total fouls were PHS 13 & SCHS 20.. Cards just put on a shooting clinic in the second holf. We were just attacking the bigs. Which was working. Cause 9 of the fouls were those two. Then after we took the lead in the 3rd with like 5 something to go in 3rd. Cards just flat lit it up. Behind the arch was the difference in this game. No excuses from us.

This Sheldon Clark team is the same every year. They're solid at the beginning and slowly fizzle out down the stretch. I wish them the best though.
