In the Arby's classic at Mcreary County H.S. This is a good win and a step in the right direction for this HC team under first year coach Mike Jones. Does anyone have any details about the game

Well Cuz, you won't like it but here are the facts.....we blew a 16 point lead and the officiating was worse than here!!!
Don't know why, but after half time our defense changed, and that was really what was working GREAT for us. The refs never seen a charge call before in their lives, so for the first half they fed Zak and he just pushed and bullied his way in for a bucket. That also changed in the second half....total inconsistency in officiating. Zak would lower his shoulder and knock boys out of bounds...no call. Carmical would drive down the floor with three and four swarming him, would pivot around, and they would call an offensive foul. Just crazy.
We really hustled tonight, LOVED our heart and grit. This team is great to watch!!

Also, to be able to get the win while dealing with some adverse conditions is very encouraging! I believe this team is making strides and if they maintain a desire to be winners they will have a very solid season, one that we will enjoy and be very proud of!! I might try to make the trip tomorrow and see the next game, who do we play?

Well, I wouldn't count this one as sucha "great" win considering souths 4 and their leading scorer & rebounder, Caleb Taylor were out.

Dont get to excited. South was playing without both their starting big men. one out with flu till monday and other be back tom I think

I didnt mean to sound disrespectful. It would been a totally different game with caleb and zach playing is all I meant. Harlan co still may have won. South played pretty well without them the 2nd half I thought

None taken. I think in the long run all these teams will be better from these issues. I know CC has found a couple of bigs that will help us loads come tourny time. I know KC has guys that are getting mins that they wouldn't be otherwise. I've said it several times. I think the 13th is a really good region. Anyone can win on any given night.

Well, I thought I saw one of their bigs on the bench in street clothes, and I learned that the other one was sick with flu. I'm sure those two would've made a difference in the game.

For the first time in a while, I'm excited to see this region play games! I doubt there will be very many blow outs; each game is going to be won or lost in the trenches! Exciting time in the 13th!!!

South has plenty of potential. Would like to see them become a region contender like they used to be.
