Federalized Police and a Police Czar?
#1
“We need federal intervention without delay,” declared the “Reverend” Al Sharpton, in his December 8 column for the online Huffington Post. Capitalizing on the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and other black men to centralize police powers, Sharpton announced that his National Action Network had organized a series of demonstrations, to culminate in a national march on the U.S. Congress in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, December 13.

What about the U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of the land, which restricts federal involvement in criminal and policing matters to a very narrow area of jurisdiction? Rev. Al cannot be troubled with such trivialities."

The danger of such a move cannot be overstated. An American Gestapo is unthinkable- at least before Obama and Holder it was unthinkable.

When Mr Obama had the backing of a Democratic House and Senate, it appeared as if traditional legislative process was still the norm, even though Republicans were being locked out of said process. Then the House went Republican in 2010, resulting in the entire House of Representatives being locked out of the process, as Harry Reid actually got away with shutting down the legislature for the next four years. During that period the Executive, the Senate, and outspoken Dems in the house, along with all the media except Breitbart and Fox News, did their best to blame the affair on Republicans. But thankfully, the people aren't quite as dumb as they seem because in 2014 the Senate went Republican, and the House went still more Republican. And now it seems the entire Congress has been locked out of the process as Executive Order stands as supreme authority in the US.

Thus without the constraints of Congress, unilateral measures are now forthcoming as the President has ordered what some have called comprehensive immigration reform, and normalized relations with Cuba. It scared me when Sharpton got up and made the speech cited above because he is an advisor to the President. IMO, Holder's recent statements on race are not anchored in reality, neither are Sharpton's or the President's for that matter. They will use the law, to run over the law. The vault that stored the American dream has been broken into and it's contents are being looted by those who harbor contempt for that dream.

One has to have his oven stoked pretty hot to get a head of steam built up against the very people who control his livelihood and his retirement. But, that is what we are seeing out of active and retired military and police who have chosen to openly speak out against the present tide of race based social engineering.

Any lucid minded person should be able to see the end game associated with government enforced bias against one particular group.
