Braxton Blair is twice the player that Chase Parsley is and its not close. Anyone that watches any basketball at all can see that.

1) Dylan James SC- Plays in the EYBL and has continued to improve
2) Braxton Blair JC- Does so much for JC and will score more this season
3) R Dalton LC- Just unreal athleticism
4) Kyle Gullett JC- Hard worker who can really shoot the ball
5) T Dalton LC- The other half of the brotherly duo
6) H Swindle SV- Young guy who will continue to improve and lead SV
7) Chase Parsley SC- Lots of skill here just needs to let James lead
8) Luke Daniels Paintsville- Nice lefty will try to help Paintsville make a run
9) Peyton Case BL- Will have to score 20-25 a game to keep BL competitive
10) Mason Blair JC- Soph is a threat to lead the Eagles in scoring this season

1) Dylan James (SC)
#2) Robert Dalton (LC)
#3) Kyle Gullet (JC)
#4) Michael Fields (SV)

1. Parsely - Best scorer in region
2. Gullett - May be No. 1 if he asserts himself
3. R. Dalton - May be to high but cant ignore his athleticism
4. P. Case - just good all around player
5. D. James - I think this is to high but his numbers will justify
6. T. Dalton - May be the best all around of the two brothers
7. T. Russell - A scorer if ball handling improves will move up list
8. L. Daniels - Solid player will lead Paintsville
9. Huffman - Probably best all around post player in Region
10. J. Lovely - Best young point guard in region

B.Blair has to prove he can shoot to make my list, and Richardson and Chaffins could fit anywhere from 5-10 on anyone's list.

James is not a senior....

I think everyone else might need to prove they can show up and win an important game to make the list.

R. Dalton, Gullet, A.Chaffins, T.Dalton. Honestly James isn't in my top 10! Big body but needs a killer instinct. Too soft for my liking.
#39
I agree. Would like to see some on this list win a big game.
#40
I would put Bolen and Russell on any list of top players. Hensley from Painstville should have a big year. a top ten list should be what the kid did last year in the games he played . not just coaches picking them ..Frazier kid from Prestonburg would be on the list. The Chaffins kid on the list.
#41
Can anyone, name lasT. Years 15reg,,all tourneys , team? And whose back t his year..
#42
The 57 district is going be tough should be some great games.
#43
Andrew newsome, Pike Co. Player of the year last year should be listed somewhere on here
#44
I belive you guys are over looking true talent. Has everyone forgot the boys at MCHS!
#45
Just remember that the 57th lost Lawrence Co, they're now part of the 60th district, which they will take easily with competitors like Belfry, Phelps, and Pike Central.

Johnson Central and Sheldon Clark are really the only two contenders in the 57th, in my opinion, but I've been wrong before.
#46
Id like to join this conversation after the season! You men have forgotten bolen from Magoffin And what about the Russell kid.
#47
Hope you are right, Kala. Hahahaha

Put all of lawrences counties starters in there. Richardson was the only one to make all regional tournament team. And they have never won anything with there 5 all stars but there just such a talented team could win the state if they could win the 15th they solved their problem of not being able to win a district title by switching out of the 57th
#50
I think that you could probably make a top 5 or 6 list of just prestonsburg players. How many yrs in a row have they been in the regional tournament? It seems like 10+ probably more. With a true workhorse like Dalton Frazure, what else does your team need? A star on the football field as well Frazure is probably the best HB in EKY. Actaully I would put him in the top 5 of basketball and football players in all of EKY. And an even better kid I go to church with him:redboxer:TongueirateSho.
