12th Region- Top 5 players in the region
#1
Who are the top 5 players in the 12th region?
#2
In no certain order:

Hagen Tyler - Boyle (Sr)
Peyton Woods - Wayne (Sr)
Will Hager - Mercer (Jr)
Jeremiah Bell - Boyle (Sr)
Jacob Conway - Lincoln (Sr)
#3
thats a pretty good 5 right there
#4
Yeah the 12th has a lot of talent right now. Hard to leave Timmy Taylor (Lincoln) off that list. Let's ball him 5 (b)!
#5
Does Southwestern not have any top talent players?
#6
yes, timmy makes them go for sure.

I could be wrong, but here's what I expect their starting lineup to look like: Gasken PF, African kid C (transfer - don't know name); Fitzgerald SF/G; Isaacs PG; Gover or Butt G.

I haven't seen the African kid play but am hearing that he's good and could be top 10 in the region???? Fitzgerald is a nice player and his day will come to be top 5 - but he's not there yet as he's just a freshman. Gover is a crafty though very small guard.

Overall, they definitely don't have a top 5 player and may not have a top 10 player. However, most of those listed are in the 10-20 range. So, likely no "star" player but will still be very tough. How tough depends on how good the African kid is.

david ademeyo is his name. I have watched him play 5-7 games this summer. he is a project but very athletic and def helps on boards and def. seems like a good kid and works hard. sw I would imagine will start alot of diff line ups fitzgerald, butt, gover and cromer will all be in the mix. I think you may see david coming off bench some depending who they are playing

Sorry, I forgot about Cromer. He's a nice player as well! Again, they don't really have a weakness but not sure they have a "star" per se. What do you think?

sw doesnt have a true star but have several really good players. IMO what will help this year is sw will be atleast 8 deep and they have not been in the past and ran out of gas in some games and had bad stretches

Does David Ademeyo have a brother that came with him from Nigeria?
#12
Southwestern is a year or two away from being really good again. They will be in the hunt for a while for a while starting in a couple year. They have some really good young talent.
#13
What year is Ademeyo and is he eligible? Also, is he 6'6" or 6'9" ?
#14
never had a measuring tape on him but I would guess 6'7" or 8 he is a jr I believe but heck he could be 27 years old who knows
#15
Heard today that peyton and david both got eligible

Im just going by what my son told me who is on the team
#21
Idk my son is on the team too lol
#22
Southwestern might not have that one star but they are so filled with talent I wouldn't be surprised if they made another run at Region.
#23
This year will probably be the funnest year in a long time in the 12th. wayne is def the top dog but several teams can give them a run for their money. boyle, mercer, lincoln and southwestern. casey co if white is eligible will be much improved. Wayne is the favorite 16-0 against 12th region teams last year. Who will knock them off this year?
#24
I'd still take Wayne as well. How could you not? But 16-0 last year doesn't mean they'll be able to do that again this year. Boyle and Mercer look to be much, much improved. Lincoln was a top 10 team (in the state) last year and returns everyone. Southwestern lost their best player but has some additions and will be very deep.

Yes, it should be a fun year with quality basketball.

Going to be A tough region.
