Cordia @ Perry Central Senior Night 2/15
#1
Im just gonna go ahead and start this. Give you creekers a week to talk this out!!!

Predictions.............

Thoughts???

Will be interesting to see how Cordia matches up with PCC. After all the hype surrounding Cordia can't wait to see. However if Perry continues to shoot the ball the way they have lately it will be hard for anyone to contain their size inside. They also shot the ball good against Knox Central Tuesday nite. If they shoot that good from the corners teams cannot collapse on the big guys inside.

Peace be among us.

Can Beverly match Owootoah speed???

IMO Beverly will not be on Owootoah. Will either be Beatty or Pray on him. Beatty is a definite speedster and Pray is no slouch.

Peace be among us.

Cordia wants to get perry in an up and down game. Owootoah is two steps faster then anyone in the region and plays his best ball in transition. But if perry shoots 42 three throws it will make it even harder for chs to pull out a win. Run and take the bigs out the game. Cordia believes their guard plays trumps perrys.

Cordia isn't big enough to rebound and I don't see their new PG hot sauce being able to finish as easy at the rim with a couple of big shot blockers in the paint.

Warren will get his boards. Neace and king will have to step up and help in that category. I agree with you there. But you really don't think E is the fastest in this region? Never seen a player in this region that has so many different levels of speed and knows how to use it. Hazard is the best in the region in trapping and forcing turnovers and they couldn't catch him.

I have no doubt he's the fastest in the region.
But it takes A LOT to be two steps faster than everyone in the region.

Has everyone seen his new highlight tape?
It's SICK

LOL!!! Confusednicker:

Here is another chance for Cordia to prove they deserve to be mention as a true region contender and gain a lot of respect. However, I just think Cornett and Johnson will be to much for the Lions. Cornett will have 20+ points on his senior night and lead the Commodores to an undefeated regular season in regional play.

I've seen him in person once and that was just the second half of the Hazard game.

I do think that Cordia will look to get up and down the court in this one to take advantage of their strengths.

But I think that Pray, Beatty, and Beverly are fast enough to get back in transition.
#16
Pray and Tagaola remind me of one another idk why tho lol. I think this is gonna be a hard fought game with an awesome atmosphere at J. Combs arena. I'm gonna take my lions by 1

Cordia-71
Pcc-70

Owootah and beverly both have 30. Anyone know if there's a jv game in this one?

Perry Central by 5
#18
Sorry but I have watched both teams several times and PCC will win this game by double digits.
#19
Guys, Perry slaughtered Powell County, Cordia had to take Powell into OT to beat them. Both were in Stanton. Perry has beaten Knott twice, Knott has beaten Cordia twice. Knott Central also slaughtered Powell in Stanton. Both have beaten Letcher. No way Cordia goes into John Combs Arena and leaves with a win.
#20
wins by 10. I will also pick the two of the refs for the game also. Cook and napier.
#21
Pcc wins by 10
#22
I have seen both teams in person. Perry wins this one. Cordia has speed but plays out of control sometimes. Cordia will be unable to match-up inside with Perry. Perry will control the tempo and pound Cordia inside. Johnson will have several dunks. Cornett will have big game also. Too much horsepower for Cordia.

Peace be among us.

I will take PCC by 8 at home in this one. On a neutral floor it would be a little closer but I think Perry would win by a smaller margin. Should be a good one.
#25
Cordia will not win this game.

You can't go by that....
One of the dumbest post I've seen from you.

And as far as big men go...
Cornett really hasn't done anything that grand all year..
He's a big body, but he hasn't been playing to his potential as of late..
Could be a factor.

He has to be the front-runner for 14th Region Player of the Year at this point
