I have an idea, how about adding who's viewing a thread thing, I can't think of what it's called but when someone views a thread they can scroll down at the bottom and see who else is viewing that same thread.

Anyone have any brilliant ideas to improve BGR?? It's pretty good the way it is, I must admit; however, I would LOVE to see a built in "spell checker".

AND I would love to see a "bear" icon that we could insert in our messages. (wonder why??)

When you are posting a comment, click the "Advanced" button. Scroll down until you see the "Thead Subcription" radio button. When you click that button, you are given choices on how to follow that thread.

We have it, but it's not going to be linked directly to the thread you are in.

You must go to the Home page. Scroll to 3/4's to the bottom to > Whats Going On. Click on Currently Active Users and it will show you who is currently on-line, when their last click on the site was, and what thread they are currently viewing. You can click the title of each of those options and it will put the users in alphabetical order, or what the most recent posts were, and finally sort by the location to sort all of the threads in alphabetical order so that you can easily see who all is looking at that thread.

TRUST me Crossbones; whenever I read your initial post I distinctly remembered cougarpride talking about that, and just about this time last year, too.

No comments were "linked" and the ONLY person that would "infer" such a thing is.....well.....I think you can figure that one out yourself!!!!

Thanks for asking! Everything is fine, and he is doing great. The other boy of mine had surgery in September to have his appendix, and gallbladder out. He has been through a lot. God has been good to us. I am blessed!

Yeah, if ya use Chrome or Firefox you'll have spell check. I really don't recommend using Internet Explorer, it's just horrible and slow.

Around 05-06 we had a point system. You'd get a point for each post, and you could use that for a wager on each prediction thread during just about any sporting event. You would use points to get things for your profile like signatures, highlighted names, and just various things like that. It was a fun idea I thought.
