Lawrence County Basketball 2012/2012
#1
With a new coach and lots of young talent look for this team to make some noise in the 15th this season.
#2
With their THIRD new Coach in four years and young talent.

I don't look for them to do much more than they have in the last three seasons.

Just being realistic.

It will definitely be an interesting year at the pound. The team is young but very deep. I look forward to it. They are working hard. 68 days to first game.

Should be an exciting year yet interesting at the same time. New coach which seems to be really bonding with these kids, and you talk to the kids and they love him. He works them hard, and after football season is over those kids will be playing. This team is going to be deep and talented but young. Just wait and see... Go Dawgs

Alot of young talent. Just dont think they will have enough to out of district.

Looking forward to the new season. I think that the dawgs have the talent to maybe surprise a few teams this year. Good luck dawgs!!!!

agree look for Lawrence to be the 4 or 5 seed in the district this season.
But if new Coach given the opportunity & stays 3-4 years maybe Lawrence can make it back to the Expo

Lawrence County looks really good in practices, seem to have a lot of talent and speed. Coach is getting along great with the kids and seems to know the game very well. Should be an exciting basketball year for Lc

Josh Cook is the head man, very smart basketball guy. I don't know how good they will be this year but I'm sure he will have that team going in the right direction.
#10
They are definitely going in the right direction.
Big numbers for LC.
#11
Have they found out who their playing in the Red River Classic at Powell?
#12
It still hasn't been posted on KHSAA so I'm not sure yet.

Personally I think these young kids will be tough to handle because they go hard all the time and have grit. Maybe not this year but the next few they will be a handful to play against if they keep that group together. They remind me a lot like Paintsville, really young but more suited for hoops. JMO.

Has Lawrence County County ever won a regional B-Ball title?
Pretty sure Blaine or Louisa may have but do not recall LCHS winning one
#15
They will play Paris 4PM
#16
This group is going to be exciting for sure.
#17
You just don't realize how young they are until you see them all out there. It will be fun to watch them grow as players and young men. They will struggle early but they should be competitive in most games.

Lawrence got a great young basketball coach in Josh Cook. He will build a great program there if they can keep him.
