Made it home last night in time to watch the last part of the 4th qtr. of the PCC vs. P-Burg game.....

Watcing Perry play reminds you of being at a track meet.... A lot of fast running. Didn't get to see their depth, but I'd say they have some quality back-ups at every position.

JC is going to have to keep PCC off the field for as long as possible. JC is going to have to have long, grinding, scoring drives that eats up the clock. It's no secret PCC is gonna pass the ball and it's no secret JC is gonna run the ball. But playing a good passing team early in the season will only help JC later on. Should be a good test for both squads.

It's been awhile since I've been to Perry's field.... It's on the left past the school, if your heading towards the old M.C. Napier building?

I see Johnson Central winning this....
but not in the fashion their fans will predict.

I "Like" the first part of this post......

But can you please explain the 2nd part Mr. Crowder? Confusedecret:

Johnson central. Is perry as athletic as they were last year?
#10
Somewhat. Not as many athletes but are very dangerous with what they have. Perry that first have used various ways of getting playmakers the ball in the first half letting there key turners touch the ball. The 2nd half wasnt much that way. PCC need to put together 4 quarters of play in this game to win....
#11
After playing these guys in a scrimmage, I highly doubt they will have much trouble with Perry County Central.

Last year these two teams squared off at Johnson Central with Perry coming out on top.

In the prediction threads all we heard was....
blowout...
blowout....
JJ Jude...
blowout...
4 TDs...
Blah blah blah....
blowout
#13
Btw PF....
I was supposed to have a NOT in my post.

Stop by our tent on the way in the game.

I give away around 200 hotdogs every game.

I know how people are die-hard about their teams.
You just have to take it in stride.
I remember when I was in High School and I thought we were going to win every game at Perry.
My first year we went 0-10 lol
#17
Close Perry 28 Johnson Cent 27 I predicted JC to win earlier but Perry better than we thought and They win this great game at commadore field. PCC not that bad if they van stop the pass. and get in shape.
#18
Jc 35
pcc 13
#19
If JC puts pressure on the QB and doesn't turn the ball over 31-12 JC
#20
Jc by 2 scores
#21
on paper JC should win by 3TDS.
if the PCC team show up from friday night, jc will win this game easy. PCC look kill going into the 4th
#22
will be a good game central by 14 late.
#23
Should be a good one. It should be a good assessment of where JC is defensively as u would guess PCC puts up a better fight than hayesville. hope the eagles perform and represent our district well.
#24
I think this will be one of the best games of the year. (unless it rains--sorry I couldn't help it). My heart says PCC but my head says JC. I really believe it will be a real close game.
#25
Jc 34 to 30
#26
Perry's passing game isn't there yet and the won't win this one on the ground. Eagles 35-14.
#27
Johnson Central ground game grinds up the Perry County defense and the Eagles go on to win 40-22
#28
Perry Central will have to use their speed and plug the running lanes to stifle Johnson Central's running game, can't let them grind out long drives and keep our offense off the field. I think the tough loss last week and this being the first home game will have the Commodores fired up and ready to go. That being said, I never make predictions on Perry Central games and will continue not to. Hope for a good, injury-free game on Friday for both sides.
#29
I think PCC caught JC off guard last year, I don't see that happening again:

JC 34
PCC 20
#30
i seen some highlight from sports overtime, and the #11 ran very well, if they dont use him like they did jj, and everyone keying on him all the time, jc will be tough to stop..
