^ Thanks for the stats...Looks like another good game for Paige.

Paige and Beverly outscored Whitley County.
They are quickly turning into the best 1-2 punch in the mountains.

Whitley drops to 2-15 on the year.
I didnt attend this one but my cousin did and said he was very impresssed with Perry.
He also said Perry was the best team he had seen this year, and he's been to every Whitley game. He also added that Beverly and Paige was the best duo he had seen in years and with the way they played, he didnt know if anybody could stop them as long as they played that well.

As for Whitley, this is going to be another "down" year for the basketball team.
If im thinking correctly, its our 29th straight down year.

I dont understand how a school with 600+ boys in it cant find 10 or 11 guys talented enough to beat some of the teams we have played.
Some people want to yell the coaches, some want to yell the administration, some want to yell the players.....WELL, we've went through 10 coaches in the last 12 or 13 years, we have tons of 6'2 and 6'3 kids roaming the hallways and the ones who do play seem to play hard, but just have very little help.

Needless to say, its been an ongoing problem for years.
I dont think we made the "right" hire this year. We just made the "safe" hire by going after a guy that we knew would stay until fired.

Some things will never change, but man i hope this is one thing that does.

Whitley has had some good teams in the past, but just can not get over the top. I thought last season they was one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the 13th.
