RIUTG, thats popcorn sutton. He passed his recipe on to a business partner and with backing from hank williams jr, they are now producing his. Its called Popcorn Suttons Tennessee White Whisky. Right now only a few places in east tn including morristown are selling it.

Just seen this...

I prefer it straight, reg flavored. Alot of times, especially Eastern/southern KY, it'll be flavored to cover up some of it's shittiness, and that can get dangerous. Got so drunk I went blind once.

I love some Sweet Apple though...I'd like to have some Shine. Been a spell since I've had a bit..:truestory:

Love the stuff! But, it doesn't love me...LOL. The best way that I have found to flavor it yourself. Take a large strawberry, cut the top off and then cut and x patern in the top about halfway through it. Then place it in the shine and seal'er back up and place it in the fridge or freezer for a day or two. GOOD STUFF and keeps it's kick. You can do this with just about any fruit. Just depends on you preference.

I've known a few people that were killed, or blinded by drinking "bad" shine. Sad thing is, they knew the makers of that stuff weren't to be trusted, and made the shine through an old car radiator.

That AND cutting it with some sort of poison....like kerosene.

If it's made correctly, it's the smoothest alcohol you will ever consume. If not, you could die.
