Highlands 63 Ryle 14
#1
56 - 0 at half

I thought it was 45-0 at the half. The first string did not play any in the 2nd half and third string QB played entire 2nd half.

Did Towles play?

Towles did play until halftime.

Expected a score of this type.

Wow, what a difference a year makes. Ryle went from a very good team to a very bad team. I was also shocked at how few players were on the team this year for a school their size and after a couple of good years.
#7
^ I really did not think that Ryle had anything to offer. They just are a different team on both sides of the ball and I had figured that HHS could do anything they wanted
#8
Congrats Highlands!
#9
It was actually 49-0 at the half. Half ended with a running clock. Highlands 7 of 10 on the year with running clock. Same story the next 2 weeks.

We have a score comparer with a very, very vivid imagination.:thatsfunn

yowch. I guess ryle is that bad. I thought their line and D would have enough from last year not to be embarrassed like that.
I think the next thing on the horizon for the birds is the cov cath rematch.
#13
Ryles line did put a little pressure on Towles. He appeared to avoid hits. He didn't scramble or run the ball, but just threw it away. Towles did a good job, but he didn't play his normal game. It was evident he was instructed to not run the ball.

Towles is just unbelievable. I so can't wait till he's at UK!

I didn't see as much bad as I did indifferent. Kinda the same half-assed effort that Highlands made in the second game last year, only Ryle never found themselves in it late.

Just to clarify you are predicting a running clock against Johnson Central in the second round?

Absolutely. Highlands will running clock Johnson Central. Without question. Johnson Central wouldn't beat Ryle and Ryle just got clocked.

As a Highland's supporter and huge fan I have basically tolerated your post. But more often than not not your post have become saturated with ignorance.

I really look forward to the Johnson Central game. If my wife was up to it, I'd sit in the Johnson Central section to listen to all the comments. Unfortuantely, I have to sit in my usual spot in the Highlands section. I flat out like the Johnson fans. Kinda wish the game was there again.

How so? Just some occasional humor IMO. I really believe Highlands is a running clock better than every team in KY except Trinity,Covcath, Bowling Green, and Lou X.

They may or may not. There is no doubt HHS is the class of 4a. I wish you would do me the favor of posting this over and over for the next couple of weeks.

Since the playoffs are starting, I'm toning down my predictions. Rather than tell everyone how bad Highlands is going to beat them, I'll go with the standard "it should be a good game".

Good plan but it's so boring.
