Tica, you know anything about PT's opponent? Was this a bad loss for PT

Tilghman led for three quarters and was on the Reitz nine 1st and goal with 2 minutes to go but could not punch it in with 2 key players out with cramps or injuries. Two starters also did not dress, one b/c of injuries and one b/c of violating of team rules. Reitz is a good team but not a great team. On this very hot afternoon, they played well enough to win. Both teams have work to do.

No excuses. PT made far too many little mistakes to win. Nine penalties -- many of them linemen jumping, illegal motion, illegal participation, etc. I call them organizational penalties, plus lost 2 key fumbles. I think if the two starters had dressed and the QB and center not have had to leave in the critical 4th quarter series, PT might have punched it in. But this is a game scored by what you did on the field, not what you should have or might have done. There is a video replay on wazoosports.com
