Magoffin County defeats Pikeville 15-2 in Game 1.

Johnson Central over East Ridge 3-1 in Game 2.

That sets up JCHS (29-5, 18-0 in the region) vs MCHS (28-10, 17-7) for the regional championship in a rematch of the 15-inning district final, which JC won 7-6. JC also won an earlier match-up on the road against MC 13-2 on April 26th.

I believe that Williams will be too much for the Lady Hornets and the pitching staff at magoffin walks too many batters to win the region. JC in 5 tomorrow night.

Williams is certainly a great pitcher, but in no way will JC win in 5, I say MC comes out early and takes command of the game and wins by 2 in 7 innings.

Possible for another extra inning game of fastpitch. There is a lot of heart in the players for both teams. Which ever one prevails will represent the 15th very well. To close to call. Good luck to all.
