Louisville Moore 45 Perry County Central 34
#1
Final from the expo late last night. PCC got beat 11, but it would have been 20+ if PCC does not slow it down to a snail's pace. Good job by Hatcher of just trying to keep it close. PCC is probably best team in mountains so far in this young season.

Got to have more points than that to be best in the mountains.

Hatcher knew it would get way out-of-hand if he played a regular tempo game and tried to score more than 34 points against Moore. By doing this, the outcome looks more respectable. I don't know who else could claim the top spot right now beside PCC.

with one of their starters and best scoring threats out, they couldnt get much going offensively. shooting 34% from the field and having 21 turnovers, an 11 point loss isnt that bad, it could have been alot worse. and they were playing against a team eastern just beat by 3 points and moore is a veteran team and very athletic. pccs guards are still inexperienced so this game is only going to help them because they wont see any better pressure than they did tonight. also moore had more size than pcc did, they were blocking everything that went inside the paint. no team in the mountains would play within 10 points of this team at this time of the year.

im sure hatch wasnt trying to "keep it close"
he always slows it down

Good showing by Perry without a starter against a good team.
Grats Moore.

Didn't Clay Co. play Lou. Moore in a pre-season scrimmage about 3 weeks ago?? Anyone know how that went?
#8
Which starter were they missing?

If Hatcher was "just trying to keep it close" he is not the coach I thought he was. These teams are quite a contrast. Hatcher tried his best to win the game and failed. If he wasn't trying to win the game, it's time for him to resign.

That is Hatchers style of play, everyone knows that.

You have got to be joking! Betsy Lane all day long is the cream of the Mountains. PCC played the weakest of all the Louisville teams! Eyewitness account.

Betsy Lane is good....
however....
"Cream of the Mountains" is a overdoing it a little.

Perry was down a starter, shot awful(which is NOT typical of this team), and kept it respectable.

Perry is by no means the "Cream of the Mountains" but you are the one that "has got to be joking" Wink

:please:
We all know Hatcher plays slow.
He was trying to win.

your funny, what has betsy layne done to be the best in the mountains? perry central beat them 10+ over the summer and perry has improved more since then then any other team ive watched play this year. and you sure dont know basketball if you think that was the weakest of all lville teams. they would have beat betsy layne 20+. moore got beat by 3 against the number 1 team in the state.

Perry might be a little down this year but...
Betsy Lane...lol That's hilarious. There not even going to win the 15th region and that's the weakest region in the state.
#18
Perry is not even the best team in the 14th. They will be competitive but knott and hazard is the teams to beat.
#19
Johnson Central is the BEST team in the 15th region and for sure the most talented team.
I think that Perry and Johnson Central play 12/14 at PCC. Should be a good test for the young PCC team. Not trying to be funny but I think Besty Lane only had 4 or 6pts at halftime against perry this summer. The game was never close or in question.

Love his style of play. Slow it down. That was sarcasm. LOL.

Come on Zaga... I know Hatcher was trying to win. I thought it was funny that HollaBack thought otherwise.

When Clay Co. played Moore a few weeks ago, Moore only beat Clay by 9. Moore has some great players such as McWhorter etc. Clay County has good players too, Hooker, Mitchell, Gay, Whitaker, England, McGeorge, and many others.

Ofcourse he was trying to win, any coach or player that goes into a game not trying to win, no matter the circumstance, shouldnt be involved in the game.
