Dont' think they were complaining about the .2 clock cuppett... LOL.. From the way I read it, it was a "questionable" TD at the half... But not complaining about it just stating a fact!!

once again sc's record does show how good this team actually is. they have alot of talent on the team starting with kp skyles who is a real athlete. They have a strong defense lead by channing smith.
Belfry, like sc has played a tough early schedule. Belfry always has a good gameplan coming into games. very tough up front with good backs. pruitt is very talented.
with the game being at home for the cardinals i see them winning the game by a td.

According to fans of Blackcat opponents, it's been MANY years since P-burg has won a game over an opponent who played well...

so, your saying that a TD that "wasn't", isn't a factor to being a bad call?? LOLOL.... Whether or not the .2 was on the board, if the TD didn't get it... it didn't get in!

In all seriousness... SC's center needs to work on getting the ball to the punter more quickly. Every snap out of punt formation (vs. P-burg) had a distinctive arc. I was surprised Coach D. didn't call for a block attempt.
With the importance of tonight's game, I think Coach H. may well try to block it.

May be a good idea... generally Haywood sends no pressure unless the ball is pinned deep inside the 15. SC will probably opt to go for it on a 4th Down from their own 40 (or in years ast their own 30

Not even then. :dontthink
Coach is extremely conservative and smart. I've rarely ever seen him try to block a punt unless the game is at stake and time is running short. Even when somebody is pinned deep, he prefers to set up a good return and try and take advantage of the best field position possible.

Lets go Pirates! This is for the district championship and home field for the playoffs!

If the Cards make Belfy run their offense between the ends shutting down the outside and put a stop to the emerging Pirate passing game, then S.C. gets the win. If the fail at either they are in trouble.

I think this game is going to be close due to the lack of bold statements made here on BGR. Year after year there is alot of smack talk taking place. I think this year is the least amount of trash talking going on. That just shows how unsure people are about each of their teams. Belfry seems to have started slow and built up speed. This is the test to see how much they have improved. SC came in hyped up but got man handled early in the season. They have been plagued by injuries and should but fairly healthy for this game. This can be the turning point in the season. If they play like they did in the fourth against BC or in the Pburg game than Belfry can name the score. If they come out like they did against JC and LC they will win in a close one.

I agee..it has been very tame. Part of that has to do with SC getting the playoff monkey off their back last year, part of it has to do with uncertainty by both school's fans, and part o it has to do with the fact both teams have tasted defeat.
I still stand by my 27-14 Belfry prediction, but I truly feel the team who loses the turnover battle loses the game. I think this one will be close throughout with a key turnover or a key busted play being the difference down the stretch.

Debatable....
Very tough schedule, but Belfry's is nearly identical pound for pound. Both teams are far from saying they have played the "best teams in kentucky" though.

I am going with Sheldon Clark it is going to be a tough game Sheldon Clark lost a lot of their good players last year, If they can keep hold of the ball and not make to many WILD passes they should come away with a win. Good Luck Cards
