Dressing up like terrorist is a bad bad bad idea. I'd imagine that wouldn't go over to well with the older people and it would have to be an awkward moment during the national anthem. It would just reflect bad on the school.

The dude from KCC that dressed up like a caveman.

But the terrorist thing.....that's just plain stupid.

does anyone have any photo's of the guy dressed up as John C. Combs(Punkin)...I would have loved to see that from what I have heard it was one of the funniest things you had ever seen

C'mon you guys and gals...I know someone had to take a photo of it...from what I have heard it was to funny not to...I did not get the chance to go and would like to see it

Hazard has by far the best pep section. They really take the time to come up with a theme for their opponent and it is usually funny except of course when you are playing them. They do a great job for a small school.
The best pep section I have ever seen at the state tourney is Covington Catholic. They actually practice all their chants and it is amazing how in sync they are.

The craziest will go to PCC without any question. They can't go anywhere without having the police called on their pep-section.

Honestly, this has proven to be the truth. LCC's AD Ozz Jackson had to call the cops down to come watch them during the KCC/PCC girls game in the semi's of region, one of their kids almost went out on the floor yelling at a ref.
Honest question, do they have a sponsor for the pep club at PCC?

It must have happened before I got there. I took some pictures and smoothphoto.com took pics but I don't remember seeing that.

PCC is rowdy, hazard is the best though.
I'm tired of hearing about money, money, money, money, money. I just want to play the game, drink Pepsi, wear Reebok -Shaquille O'Neal

Rowdiest doesnt mean school spirited. It means they lack discipline and control from school administrators. It seems that when you hear about bad behavior in sports in Eastern Kentucky you always hear Perry Central's name come up. It does in football, soccer, boys basketball, girls basketball just to name a few. When you hear the PCC faithful, it is always the other team or fans fault. It is about time for the Perry County Superintendant along with the rest of Punkin's peon's to enforce some discipline in their school.

I thought Breathitt did a good job that night, too.

Like I said, it is always the other schools fault.

Rowdy isn't always a good thing.
But I promise you school spirit has a whole lot to do with how rowdy they are.
I'm sure these kids don't go to games thinking....
man I want to just start a riot tonight:redboxer:
Whether or not they are out of control. They create an environment that makes for a tough environment for opposing teams to play in.
It has gotten out of hand on several occasions, but they definitely have school spirit to say the least lol

I wouldn't say 300 but they did have a whole lot! I would say, probably, around 200 or 250.

Like someone said in an earlier post,
PCC is rowdies
KCC travels most
Haz is most creative.
I'm not sure anyone can disagree with that.

Just talking about what I have observed over the past five years.

PCC is by far the rowdiest, but that is not to say they don't have school spirit. Some of them may have hot heads ands short fuses, but that doesn't mean they don't love their school and their players. They do create a very tough environment for opposing teams to play in.
No doubt the kids for Hazard, KCC, and PCC have what I believe the most school spirit and Bulldog/Patriot/Commodore Pride than any other school in the 14th region. PCC just let's their emotions get the better of them. Knott Co.'s pep club is overseen by a sponsor, and they have set rules at which they must follow or administration will handle problems. I can't say enough about the creativity of the Hazard kids, they can take a little old idea and turn it into a great theme.
Bottom line:
PCC by far the rowdiest
KCC by far the better travelers and IMO best behaved class wise
HHS by far the most creative.
These kids all love their schools and 14th region basketball and they never disappoint in making an awesome environment for 14th region basketball.
