Cowardly? ROFLMAO!
I removed the posts for the public eye because I PM'd you. If you want to continue with this discussion in here, then that's fine with me.

And I told you to have the last word.
You take the cake dude. You had no business removing the thread.
Not only did you show your football IQ, with that little stunt you showed your character......

This is the most publicity Spencer County has ever gotten. Oh by the way, I was 9-2 on my Bluegrass rivals picks of the week.

Not going to disagree with you Orangenowblue. Not a whole lot going on out here in T'ville!
Congrats on your picks.
Dumb luck by your own admission though, right?

No admission here. When they post the selected games for predictions, I do a background study on the programs I don't know much about. If a Spencer County game would have been posted, I would have done more homework. This is only my second week of predictions and I have done well in both. Not saying that I will not have bad weeks in the future. As far as predictions on threads, if I don't know about the program, I make a prediction anyway, right or wrong, because it is not a big deal.

You said "injuries" (as in plural) and that they were "riddled".
Other than Weaver, what other key injuries did they have? Fill us all in, Orangenowblue?

You know what, I can respect that. I know this board is for fun. No big deal.
What I can respect is that you admitted what you are all about (not a sportswriter and neither am I). You made your pick, and that is fine. At least you can admit how and why you did so.

I was told they had some kids out with injuries. One of them being a potential all-state QB. An injury of a player of that magnitude would have a devastating effect on a large school much less a Class A school.

I was following along on this board and a couple of others this week. I was obviously particularly interested in information on Frankfort since they were our opponent this week.
I don't recall any other players being mentioned? I say that because you used the word "riddled".
Granted, Qwan Weaver is an outstanding RUNNING BACK (not QB) and I'm sure he would have certainly helped them on Friday night.
I guess I feel like Spencer County is a little underrated? I know there isn't much we can do about that except keep winning. I'm just saying that Frankfort being ranked #3 in 1A, but losing to a 3A team that is 2-1 (Spencer County lost last week to E-town who was ranked #8 in 3A, and only by 3 points) and possibly should/could be a ranked team doesn't qualify as an upset to me.
Again, that is just my opinion.

I think this thread is going south and i mean going south fast. But i guess i will throw this in for consideration. The injury to Weaver wasnt made until a few days ago. So if anyone made there prediction before they found that out then I am sure some people may of changed there minds but some may not.

Never meant for this thread to be seen that way. It boils down to some fellows getting upset when their predictions weren't correct and they got a little "ribbing" for it.
Got to be a big boy if you are going to make predictions in front of everyone. When you are wrong, you have to man up!

Welcome aboard CardinalAlum! Your post didn't bother me one bit.
You don't think one fellow who says he doesn't even know where a county is located is qualified to make a predicition? So when he gets it wrong and then gets ribbed and can't take it, throws a fit, then starts deleting posts, that somehow I am wrong? (laughing)
The post I quoted there that Orangenowblue guessed right on the 9-2 record he was bragging about for this week was "dumb luck" as I called it, is because earlier in this thread he admitted that he doesn't know much about teams from across the state and he refused to study and educate himself (his own words) about them?
That, to me means his 9-2 record was dumb luck.
What would you call it????
P.S. How about that game versus the Sycamores last night?

Go back and read Post #36 again as I explained myself. I also do not think he was defending me as I do not know CardinalAlum. As for the Sycamores what has that got to do with anything related to this thread.

Its a prediction and that's all it is you don't have to know anything about the team to make one.. Yes i will say i know nothing about your team, but i do know a little bit about Frankfort. with that being said i would have picked them to win and that would be all there is to it. There's no reason for you to keep arguing about it on here with the other members, As for BCA deleting post he made a double post and he deleted one of them, it happens all the time and he closed the other thread because it was a prediction thread and the game is over no reason to have to open, and as for the Sycamores Im not a Louisville fan I'm a UK fan I'm a CardinalAlum because i graduated from Sheldon Clark.

As I explained to Orangenowblue, I can understand that.
My point is (and was) that if you put a prediction on here and you get it WRONG as they all did, you have to expect a little ribbing! No one seems to mind bragging when they get them right! Heck, in this thread right here Orangenowblue made it a point to say he was 9-2 in the Pick 'em this week.
Its called "lively debate". Its what message boards are about. You get to "argue". You get to talk about "my team is better than your team", etc.
These fellow have to understand that.
This whole thing started when they got all bent out of shape for me bringing up that they picked wrong. Instead of just saying "you got me on that one" or "oh well", old Blackcatalum got all upset. He posted 3 times, about it (he had to remove a couple after I pointed that out).
My biggest beef was him deleting this whole thread! That was what I was talking about. He closed that other thread because I asked "how does that crow taste". Look on the board, there are a ton of multiple threads about the same teams going on. Anything to do with football in the mountains is ok to talk about in multiple threads!
In closing, I am not the one who is upset. I think it is funny. Orangenowblue made a prediction for Spencer County's game this week. If we win again, I am going to holler at him and hoot it up that we won and he picked against us.
Isn't that what you do when it comes to sports and your team wins? I think they call it "Bragging Rights"??????

I look for this to get closed soon because its not about the game its someones personal vendetta against people who didn't pick his team to win and i think its starting to get silly arguing about it like this.

CardinalAlum, don't even waste your time with this guy. He was asking for trouble when he come bragging about his 3A school defeating a 1A school who had their best player out for the game.
There's really no point to this thread anymore... Closed!
Feel free to start another one.
