Betsy Layne will come out and play with a chip on their shoulder, and it will be important for Prestonsburg to be able to match the early intensity from the Bobcats. If Betsy Layne can jump out and get an early lead and get confident, Prestonsburg will have a long night. If Prestonsburg can match the intensity, and jump out and take any confidence Betsy Layne may have away early, I believe it will be long night for Betsy Layne. All and all, I look for another game where it will go back and forth, until the least disciplined team starts making mistakes. Betsy Layne has a reputation of being undisciplined and it will be interesting to see if they can keep their ego's in check, starting with their head coach. Hopefully, it will be a clean game and both teams can walk off the field knowing they gave it their all. I have heard about injuries on both sides, so it will be interesting to see who plays and who doesn't.

I've saw where Betsy Layne's fans have been pointing at the Breathitt County game as an indicator of how the Blackcats have been playing, but I can tell you, those Bobcats from Breathitt would put a running clock on any team in District 7 and 8. Betsy Layne has struggled recently to beat, bad teams, and it starts with their defense. If the Blackcats can limit their turnovers, I look for them to wear down Betsy Layne, and pull away late, similar to last game. If Betsy Layne can create some turnovers, and get some easy scores, they have a shot. It will no doubt be an emotional game, but I feel like the team with the best defense will win the game, and that has been proven to be Prestonsburg. Regardless of the outcome, Coach Hager and Prestonsburg has exceeded any expectations set forth, and the program is headed in the right direction, but I don't think the season ends tonight.
