I don't know if we will take a step back, but I don't see much of an improvement on our overall record. I felt like last year was a down year, especially after we hit a wall coming down the stretch. We lost a couple of starters outside of those seniors to the transfer portal, and if we lose Laferty, our line is going to be in trouble. We have the skill kids to compete, and I like our QB, but we all know, you better have the big boys up front who can play. There is some talented underclassmen lineman, but that's a lot to ask for them to step up and compete at a high level early on. I believe we are a year away from being the favorite to win the district.
