Prestonsburg is going to be fine

I love the optimism but it’s doubtful without transfers. Especially with the news of 2-3 players heading to BL following finals week.

Who other than Westin Harris?

I didnt get names but a defensive linemen and a rising freshman running back. 

One of them has a mom that works up there.

I wish them well, if true. I know Harris did transfer to Betsy Layne. That’ll make the 3rd team for him in 4 years.

Prestonsburg is going to be fine either way. Line depth is the biggest concern. Skill talent is there. Players seem to be buying in with Hager and love the new staff.

That’s good to hear. I hope the charisma can win ball games. The kids didn’t much care for anyone on the past staff and it showed. It wouldn’t have mattered if they knew ball or not. 


I just worry about the coaching ability when the charisma and charm wears off. Will they be able to make adjustments and get players ready to play? 

I know Hagar’s middle school teams never seemed to adjust or be prepared to win games when I saw them play. Nor did Matt Slone’s middle school teams at Adams. 

is there anyone of staff that has significant varsity experience that might improve my outlook?
