Reserves Travis Gabbard and Quinton Chames led Holy Cross to a 95-59 victory over Heritage Academy at the All “A” Ninth Region Classic held at Beechwood High School on Monday night.
Gabbard led all scorers with 19 points and Chames finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds to record his first double double. Holy Cross, which is ranked fourth in the Enquirer area coaches’ poll, played its starters only three minutes of the 35-7 first quarter before bringing in its reserves for the rest of the game.
