At Harlan the heat index has caused us to move practice times around and temps are supposed to climb in the coming days. I think the KHSAA should take this into account when calculating the beginning of practice. We already get one less week to prepare for the season as opposed to last season. Is it causing problems for other teams as well? Please post your thoughts.

Are you proposing that they allow practices to start even earlier in June than they already do? I for one am against it when mandatory football practice has already shorten baseball players ability to play in the elite level tournaments that happen in late June and Early August. I am certainly not in favor of cutting into the summer baseball season even further.
