The earthly musical quality to a lot of this isn't the greatest.
A lot of it has to do with the society that started WLJC.
WLJC is primarily an old-school gospel station and when you go to a Church like that EVERYONE plays and sings.
Not because they want to be a good singer, but because God has given them a talent (be it little or great) that they feel they need to show.
I play music in Church all the time. I don't usually play Gospel but I've been known to bring it out every so often.
I applaud anyone that gets up and truly tries to give an Offering of Worship to God whether it sounds pleasing to my fleshly ears or not.
However, I do think that WLJC needs to explore other options when it comes to finding musical acts.
There are MANY....I mean MANY Christian bands or artists in the area that sound great but they don't get the invite because they sing songs written post-1960.

Wow, Zaga_fan, we agree somewhat! Interesting. Tell me if I am wrong, but we agree that we should all give God our praises, and they all sound good to his ears and that is all that really matters in the long run, and that WLJC needs to look for other options. Right?
