thoughts/predictions????

Estill has been playing alot better since they last played Somerset and i think they can beat the briar jumpers.
#2

Jumpers are going to roll in this one.

Good luck to both!
#5
Somerset at home will be too much
#6
After seeing Somerset come out tonight and put up the numbers they did against Magoffin, "at home" I sadly think they are going to be a little much for Estill. Somerset by 4+! Good luck to both teams!
#7

agreed. since the last time Estill Played Somerset (if you don't count that game) the Engineers are 6-1 (but if you count it then there are 6-2) and they are 4-1 on the road. Engineers have been playing alot better since the last time they played the briar jumpers

I would love to go to this game! My dad played football for the Briar Jumpers when he was in highschool and Estill Co is kinda the home team for me since im over here in Lee Co! So i can't wait for this one but i do think Somerset will win this one.

Somerset-38
Estill Co-17

I think Jumpers will win, but should be a good game. Estill's O plays possession, time killing football which tends to keep the scores of their games down a little. Jumpers have played Estill twice in 12 months with each team getting a win.

I look for a closer game than most, bout like last time...

And to add to that my cousin also played football for Somerset.

Estill county wins. Closer then what everybody says

Somerset takes care of the ball they should be OK. Somerset was a young team last year that remembers exactly how their season ended, EC put it on them with a senior laden team. Somerset looking to play these 48 minutes to get to the next 48 minutes. Unlike many of the other 3A fans on here we take it ONE game at at time.

Estill is still young and the Jumpers well ....WOW. Great season. Jumpers by 10

Estill in an upset

Estill will not beat Somerset! Somerset could easily open this one up and win by 4 scores if they come ready to play.

That would be awesome to see but lets get real here. I don't see any possible way that Estill can pull off the upset in this one.

and you all said that Doss would get ran over by Anderson County and look what happened. Doss went to Anderson and left Anderson with the W. so just because Estill has been beaten by somerset don't mean that they won't win.
#24
No upset here,Somerset wins big 49-14.
#25
Estill by a TD
#26
somerset by two TDs

I think Somerset will take this one at home 35-14. The score of the last game was a little bit misleading. The Somerset defense totally shut down Estill's offense. The final score was only 27-14 but Estill ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown and then put together a drive and scored with about 15 seconds remaining in the game against mostly Somerset's defense. Somerset was also playing without one of their leading receivers and had a sophmore tackle playing center since both the starting and 2nd string center were sick/hurt. The game was also played in the rain on a sloppy field. Those players will be back and it should be a fast track this week which I think will offset the improvements the Engineers have made.
