NO KOSAR, I did not blame it on the refs.. If you read my post I said they had a bad game, I also didn't blame it on chemisty from Greenup players in the locker room. That stuff should never beat a good team! Two or three bad calls should never beat a good team; The Rams aren't a great team and sometimes those things do effect a team. But, the Rams are getting better every week by playing larger schools and it will pay-off, it has in the past and the coaching staff knows what they are doing. But, the refs. do need to understand the rules on FGs. It's a fact he went over the center and Coach Copley at the JV game even admitted to that but said he didn't touch the center. IT's over and thats the last I'll talk about that game! Time to move on:ChairHit:

I sure hope you are right, that would be awesome to have another win to get us ready for the district playoffs. Greenup be ready to come out Friday and play some football.

I really think the boys have a shot of winning this if they come out ready to play and work on the little things . What is your prediction of the score?

Will Carter be put in on more plays this game , I think he could make the diffrence on both sides of the ball. I think he makes a very good addition to the Greenup Back field!

This game may actually be TOO close to call. Both teams are playing pretty good right now, but I would have to give Coal Grove the advantage at this point. Carter is a game changer that is a fact and if has learned the new system then WATCH OUT.

All I will say about that game greenup is LOOK up the rules, You are wrong!!! Also you don't win at any cost, when you grow up and became adults you will become aware of that.

With the addition of Carter to the Greenup squad it really makes them a different team.

I thought that this was a thread about the Greenup vs. Coal Grove game...I must be mistaken because I still see alot of Raceland fans on here belly-aching over their loss to Greenup. It is what it is. Move on. On that note, I wish Greenup the best of luck and I hope Carter runs circles around Coal Grove!

I heard talk yesterday that #79 may see his first action of the season, also no injuries, and after practice yesterday, when they were running sprints, they were all fired up. Coach Copley has the team in great shape and stress's the little things, and may open up the playbook a little more. We sure need this win, going into district play. :praise:

Should have Kitchen back in two to three weeks also from what I am hearing. How big would it be to have both of them back on the D-line for district play?
09-23-2009, 12:23 PM
WOW Kitchen and Grayson back for districts could make a big difference. Not that the line wasn't already good. Now some will be able to get a break every now and then. Great line,Awesome speed, sounds like we are ready to play some FOOTBALL.

It would be awesome to see what kinda of things Copley can do with them.

Will be at the meeting , we are going to discuss plans for our Homecoming game. Which by the way is against Lawrence County and they have stated that they are not even worried about Greenup. You got to love that.
