Valiant effort by the Colonels as they led late, but the Knights pull it off.

I believe Whitley was such a good team tonight. We had a lot of injuries, and thats when we fell apart. Great effort though. We proved how good they're gonna be this year.

Lexington Catholic survived a big scare to start its season, but managed to come from behind and pull out a 43-33 win over visiting Whitley County.
The visiting Colonels carried a 33-28 lead midway through the fourth quarter before Catholic found a way to win.
Greg Raglin scored the go-ahead touchdown, an 8-yard run with 5:28 to play, to put Catholic up 36-33. Raglin then broke free for a 44-yard scamper with 1:36 remaining to finish out the scoring.
