Its a good rivalry that goes pretty far back die hard Ram fans would never like it neither would Devil fans. I say we have taken a while to get this game back lets keep it. Schedule Devils & Ironton now that's a real rivalry that needs to be played again.

Russell would have to give up soccer. As every Raceland fan knows soccer would destroy their program. But hey, we’re in this for the kids, if you live in Raceland and want to play soccer you can just go to Russell. As long as we get a few of their football players from time to time it’s all good!

I started reading from the beginning and was wondering if it was satire when it said Raceland hadn’t beaten Russell in that guys lifetime and it take me a few posts to realize how old this was haha

Do their district boundaries actually connect or is Greenup territory between them?
I don't think you can consolidate if you don't border. Also, I don't think I've ever seen two independent districts merge, and I have followed that a long time.

It’s two independent schools wishing the same county….Greenup County. And yes they touch….the schools are 4 to 5 minutes apart

I used to live on the edge of the border and the buses from each school passed each other regularly.  When my niece and nephew started school they rode the Raceland bus and our next door neighbor rode the Russell bus.

1969 was the last time I believe. So its been approx 39 years...
