The bobcats got one more passing league game before the dead period. they will be over at Allen Central tonight around 5. Come out and watch your lovable bobcats. They will play until the whistle blows.

Betsy Layne played Allen Central tonight, they won 11-9. Both teams really looked good. This game will be a battle in season.

I thin BL can do good next year. They dont have that hard of a challenging schedule. I would say about a 5-5 record with wins over Burch, AC, Powell Co, Phelps , and Jenkins.

Don't for sure, I know for Betsy Layne it was spreaded around with Casey Adkins, Dylan Maldonado, Bryant Tibbs, and Jordan Hall, and among others. They looked real good. They were without Cody McKay.

How is Tibbs doing in football? I seen him out the other day, and he looks like he's gained a lot in muscle, and I was just wondering how he was doing on the field?

Bryant Tibbs is great, the only thing that he misses from being a college player is some experience. I think if he stays with it, they will be a lot of small colleges interested and if they have a good enough season, I guess you never know about college.

Bryant Tibbs will probably be a te or wr on defense it could go as cb, LB or maybe DE. Personally I would love to see him at DE. That would really put some speed on the side.

Well what's their numbers look like during the summer thus far? I think that will be the key to the Bobcat's success (if any) this season!

I think Betsy Layne numbers will be in the upper 20's. During passing league they had around 26 but I guess we will have to see.

They havent had pressure on them in the past, maybe this is a good thing. The boys on the hil can do anything but they have to put the work in.

this thread has lasted 4ever lol all i can is betsy layne's fans seems 2 have high expectaions and if they dont win at least 4 games im going to be mad and coming back here to laugh at everyone because as you can tell im not from BL but wish them the most luck this season and hope they go 9-1, would wish 10-0 but that means that would have to beat my favorite team. so good luck and god speed.

Betsy Layne will do fine, I am glad this thread has lasted this long. I dont care how good the season goes for them, sure I would like to see them win state, but as long as they make progress from last year and keep forming the steps to Rome.

How are they doing? Both were good athletes in Grade School, and I wondered how they would do in high school? Don't remember seeing Martin last year on the field so I was curious?

Martin didnt play last year.
Maldonado played wideout last year, looked good.
Dont forget C. Adkins he got hurt last year before the first scrimmage. He led the bobcats in tackles against Magoffin in scrimmage with 12.

Adkins is one heck of an athlete and the bobcats has a lot!! of talent on there team this year starting with the seniors K. Jerrell, Z. Hall and some very talented freshmen and sophomores like freshmen Tory Jerrell, Austin hall and sophomores Martin, Maldonado, Adkins and how about the huge linemen Aaron"big a" Newsome? man I've heard that kids huge... whats the line up of the bobcats look like this year for those players?

In the backfield looks like it will be Dylan Maldonado, Casey Adkins, and Jordan Hall. When Cody McKay comes back he will likely get reps in the backfield.
As for running and passing, I think it will always be run but you never know.
