I also donât have anything in this issue but If he was offered that job as young as he is he would be a fool not to take it. Thatâs why I thought these man coach to always better their selves and their families. He was a great player and has done a good job for Corbin but maybe he just wants to stay at Corbin and win a championship because I seen their 8 grade team and 7 grade team and they both where very talented.

Corbin choked again. 75 head coaches on staff that couldnât make it on their own and recruits from Brazil and China and still couldnât get it done. Wow

Maybe this is the year. Lol

Still means something to get there and Boyle was a great team, how far did Knox make it?

Maybe no time soon for Knox, especially come 2019. I couldnât imagine how your day goes being so infatuated with Corbin, it must be a nightmare every time a new season begins for us.

Whatâs it say that our assistant coach was a head coach at KC? Hahah. Just face it. Weâre better at just about everything. Cry recruiting all you want. Youâve got no proof and no one takes your crap serious anyways. Good luck on another average season coming up.

There is a difference in losing to a better team and choking. You obviously don't know the difference. The accusations of recruiting are funny considering what Knox did to get their best basketball player from barbourville. If you all don't make that move a few years ago you probably don't even make region this year.

Corbin has a dandy team and program. No denying that. I hope my Bobcats can close the gap some this year! The Redhounds will be a handful.

Can anyone tell why all Laurel County schools refuse to play Corbin unless mandated by tournament?
03-23-2018, 02:09 PM
The way I understand it is it started with youth leagues and Corbin talking to kids to come to Corbin and worked it’s way up into middle school. Powers stopped the games from being scheduled. Short version, just the basic info from the AD.

I think it's better that they don't play. A running clock doesn't really help anybody.

How many running clocks did you guys put on people...other than McCreary? Listening to some of you I wonder if you actually know what that means or just that is the only line you have at this time.

I was thinking the same.....whatever is said....We are going to put a running clock on them 1st half.

Corbin put a running clock on five teams last season. Mccreary, jackson, bell, knott, and Powell. If Corbin had played the Laurel county schools it would've been seven.
03-24-2018, 04:52 AM
North and Corbin would have been more competitive last season than my friends in red would care to admit.
03-24-2018, 05:21 AM
15-0 next season
03-24-2018, 05:25 AM
That's easy to say when you refuse to play. Talk is cheap when you don't have to back it up.

:Shaking: Donât tell me you guys are gonna start this nonsense again, itâs the off-season how bout working in the weight room as hard as you work at hijacking the Corbin thread with lame topics :welcome:

Our regional championship game was a running clock well before halftime, hold on do you rubes up at North even know thereâs a region championship?

:lame: This might be more believable if youâd actually made it past the second round of the playoffs and I think Harlan proved without a doubt that your winning the district was a fluke since they beat you twice at home!!

LOL, I would be embarrassed to put those teams on my schedule. Wait that is the tough district and region you come from. Next time we meet you will get a running clock put on you.

Harlan County was a very good team that got everybody healthy at the right time and played great football in the latter part of the season and playoffs. They did make the 5A semi's so no shame there.

Stop taking in circles, yes Harlan was a good team if theyâd had everyone healthy, like they did when Corbin beat them handedly in a preseason scrimmage, then youâd never won the district. Kinda shoots holes in your theory of a game with either of the Laurel schools being anything but a blowout.:welcome:

Preseason scrimmage... those don't count.
Just an unbiased observation. No need to get all defensive.
